M.Sc. Microbiology is a two-year degree program wherein students are taught through a combination of lectures, tutorials, practical classes, coursework and projects about the components and composition of microscopic living organisms and their assembly and interactions important in sustaining life. By using theoretical knowledge and techniques, students attempt to investigate and solve biological problems pertaining to the understanding of physiological processes of the microbes, their interaction with hosts leading to diseases and subsequent disease diagnostics, prevention, therapy and prognostics.

B.Sc. Nursing is a Four year degree programme designed to provide individuals with a competence and standards required for the practice of professional nursing care at state, national and international levels. Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Forensic Science program is designed to develop theoretical knowledge and practical application of the key aspects of Forensic Science. The B.Sc. syllabus emphasizes learning of chemical principles in theory as well as their experimental aspects. After an introductory course in chemical structure and properties, students will take foundational level courses that will show how chemical structure can be used to explain physical, organic, inorganic, and biochemical reactions and how these chemicals and their reactions can be quantitated and modeled mathematically. The students will conduct a series of experiments in the laboratories equipped with modern instrumentation and computers, where they will learn important techniques and skills in synthesis, analysis, separation and modeling of chemical reactions. The students undertake various research projects under the mentorship of faculty members in the institute or external mentors for their bachelor’s level dissertation.
