B.Com (Honours) course is a three-year undergraduate qualification for students wishing to pursue a career in accounting and finance. It is accredited by ‘The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants’ (ACCA), U.K. The program has core courses, competency builders, industry interface and research. The students will develop business, financial and analytical expertise through this course. Emphasis is laid on practical work which is simulated through case studies, actual projects and learning by doing. Some of the major areas that are covered include Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Micro and Macro Economics, Business Statistics, Introduction to Computers, Business Laws, Corporate Laws, Taxation, Indian Economy and Business Communication.

The B.Sc. syllabus emphasizes learning of chemical principles in theory as well as their experimental aspects. After an introductory course in chemical structure and properties, students will take foundational level courses that will show how chemical structure can be used to explain physical, organic, inorganic, and biochemical reactions and how these chemicals and their reactions can be quantitated and modeled mathematically. The students will conduct a series of experiments in the laboratories equipped with modern instrumentation and computers, where they will learn important techniques and skills in synthesis, analysis, separation and modeling of chemical reactions. The students undertake various research projects under the mentorship of faculty members in the institute or external mentors for their bachelor’s level dissertation.

The two-year post-graduate program, M.Sc. Chemistry provides the flavor of advanced research, with an in-depth knowledge of cutting-edge technologies along with an understanding of the specific scientific principles.  The Syllabus covers the advanced theories and applications in all the major areas of chemistry viz. Organic, inorganic and physical chemistry. The curriculum provides a strong foundation in chemistry, biochemistry and other chemistry-related areas for positions as chemists and scientists in industry, teaching at school and junior college level and for studies in the medical and health sciences. Advanced studies can further be pursued such as a doctorate degree, which exposes a candidate to advanced research preparing the candidate to work with prestigious laboratories around the world as scientists.

Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Sciences is an undergraduate 4 years academic program, with 3.5 years of Didactic learning and 6 months of mandatory Internship.The course aims to provide proficient and balanced training in laboratory medicine and diagnosis. It involves the application of different technologies to diagnose and cure diseases. The students become specialized at analysis of body matter such as fluid, tissue and blood, micro-organism screening, chemical analyses, and cell count. Students also learn to handle advanced lab equipment and perform accurate laboratory tests, with great emphasis on Quality Control and Quality Assurance. Diploma in Ophthalmic Technology is a two year diploma program designed to build a trained and qualified professional who assists ophthalmologists in order to diagnose and treat patients.
