B. Tech in Computer Science & Engineering (Data Science) is an undergraduate programme which has been specifically designed to provide a platform to undergraduate students for a prospective career in upcoming data science industry. The course encompasses Data Science as an interdisciplinary, problem-solving approach that learns to apply scientific techniques to practical problems. It is intensive skill-oriented program with enough practical training for building business models for analytics. With analysis and statistical approach, data science is one of the fastest growing career opportunities in the country. It is designed to give exposure to the variety of applications that can be built using techniques covered under this program.

It is a five year course comprising of ten semesters on completion of which a student earns a graduate degree in law. This course is designed to acquaint a student with the conceptual and operational parameters of general principles of law and its operation in the society. These courses help to understand how central and state governments function and how legislations are enacted and enforced. Apart from the traditional ways like lecture, assignments etc teaching pedagogy will cover up most up-to-date methods such as research, case studies, presentations and discussions.

Course Outcome

This course gives an insight to the students into the fundamentals of legal studies. They are exposed to basic concepts of law and legal system. The B.Com (Honors) program is intended to provide strong foundation and overall academic development to students. This programme caters to commerce aspirants who desire to build their professional competence on a higher plateau with specialised knowledge in the field of financial market and banking & finance. It aims to equip students with the knowledge and competence in the field of business and commerce to pursue a professional career. This programme is to impart basic knowledge and skills in all the important subjects in the field of Commerce, to equip the students thoroughly in the field of financial market and banking & finance, to prepare students for advanced studies in Finance and Management and also professional courses in Accounting, Costing, Financial Analysis, Insurance and Corporate Secretary-ship, to foster ethical and moral values and attitudes for their development as effective personnel for business, industry and the financial services sector.

B. Tech in Computer Science & Engineering (UX) is an undergraduate programme which aims to develop graduates that are not only well versed with computing approaches, tools, and technologies, but are also experienced with Design approaches and new Media technologies & uses. The program has a small set of core courses in CS and Design, and many electives which can be taken from CS as well as Design and Digital Media. This enables the students to build a program most suitable for them. The program will prepare students to work in the IT industry as well as digital media industry like gaming, animation, virtual/augmented reality, etc. The program will also allow students, who want to pursue higher studies, to take up higher studies in CS/IT or in Design.

It enables the students in conducting research work in different areas of Psychology and prepares them to undertake higher responsibilities in their professional field. The emphasis of the program lies in promoting critical and applied thinking in students in diverse areas such as counseling psychology, clinical psychology, social psychology, and industrial/organizational psychology.
