Mechanical Engineering is one of the primordial branches of engineering. The programme incorporates courses from the area of design, manufacturing, and thermal. In the current era, almost all the mechanical systems like cars, air conditions, refrigerator, etc. are amalgamated with electronics and electronic devices to make the process automatic. We have come up with this unique concentration where the students of mechanical engineering can learn both the fields of engineering. Robots are deployed in industries to make human life easy and convenient. The automation and robots in industries are capable of accomplishing tasks which could otherwise be hazardous for humans. To fulfil this need of time, we have incorporated a curriculum in electro-mechanical subjects to the concentration in automation and robotics.
