The program provides wide exposure in the field of Arts and Social Sciences with option to choose Social Science subjects and language along with compulsory English course.

The program is designed to create expertise in laboratory diagnosis of human diseases caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites as well as antimicrobial susceptibility testing, molecular diagnostic techniques for infectious diseases, public health, laboratory quality, safety, management and regulation

Emphasizes on off-the-shelf research to create new knowledge and explore future challenges. The researcher is expected to identify the research gaps, formulate objectives, develop methodologies for finding solutions to real life problems

History is a discipline valued by political, economic and social thinkers. The program broadly covers Historical methods, Archaeology, World History and Indian History
