Chemical engineering covers designing as well as maintenance of chemical plants. In this postgraduate program the students study about the application of Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Mathematics and Economics with respect to the conversion of chemical forms. The M.E. (Chemical) students are taught subjects like Mathematical and Statistical Methods, Process Optimization, Advanced Separation, Processes Research Methodology, Advanced Transport Phenomena, Advanced Reaction, Engineering, Advanced Thermodynamics etc. Along with the theory, students are also given access to the lab.
