A discipline that applies the principles of Engineering, Physics & Materials Science for design, analysis, manufacturing & maintenance of mechanical systems. It is one of the oldest and broadest engineering disciplines, hence, known as "Mother" discipline. The scope of the Mechanical Engineering is continuously expanding beyond traditional boundaries and therefore, it enjoys the status of an evergreen discipline. Mechanical Engineers focus their attention towards new areas of research such as Nano Technology, development of Composite Materials, Bio-Medical applications, Environmental conservations etc.

Mechanical Engineering aims at producing graduates ready to work in diverse multidisciplinary areas that are developing. The department provides excellent education in the application of the traditional blend of core areas of dynamics, vibrations, structural analysis, materials, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer and control theory for the analysis, design and manufacturing of a wide variety of mechanical systems. The discipline also provides strong training in modern developments in product design, mechatronics, nano-mechanics, advanced materials, robotics, CAD/CAM, modern manufacturing systems, and computational analysis. Specializations in Automobile, Aerospace, Renewable Energy Systems, Bio-medical Devices, Computational Engineering, and Systems Engineering are being introduced in the undergraduate curriculum. The students undergo extensive course work, project work, and laboratory experience during their studies.

BBA (Hons) is a 3 to 4-year degree that imparts management skills and knowledge in aspirants. The course aims at developing the basic business development knowledge and skill base that is requisite for a bachelor’s level student by utilizing various subjects of study and their related practical applications.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering deals with design, manufacture and maintenance of mechanical equipment by applying the basic principles of mechanics.

It is the scientific and practical approach to computation and its applications. 

In the School of Environmental Sciences (SES) we teach, study, and conduct research, in the life and physical sciences to address critical environmental issues and processes related to the lithosphere, atmosphere, hydrosphere, and biosphere.

School of Environmental Sciences provides and foster academic excellence in a diverse suite of undergraduate and graduate programs focused on the comprehensive study of biotic and abiotic interactions and environmental issues in natural and managed ecosystems. It is a highly respected, research-intensive community that promotes communication and collaboration among academics, industry and government at the provincial, national and international levels.

The School has diversified interest in various earth, atmospheric and biological processes. Linkages between Ecological and Social processes give an additional dimension to School's interest, making the work relevant. Therefore, the curriculum has components of disciplinary areas such as physical sciences, earth and atmospheric sciences, environmental biology, and environmental monitoring and management.

The Full form of GNM is General Nursing and Midwifery. GNM Nursing course is a 3 years 6 months diploma level course with a mandatory internship for 6 months. General Nursing and Midwifery or GNM, focuses on providing skills and knowledge related to patient care and clinical treatment.

B.Sc. (Hons.) Chemistry course creates the special care in the state of the normal bachelor’s of science subjects like mathematics, physics and computer applications. This course also includes the study of atomic structure, chemical bonding, thermodynamics, chemistry of various elements, classes of organic compounds, electrochemistry, coordination chemistry, quantum mechanics, spectroscopy, computer applications in chemistry, a method of chemistry, a method of chemical analysis, environmental and biochemistry, etc.
