B.Sc Life Sciences Medical Stream is an under graduate degree program giving students an opportunity to fortress their skills and apply knowledge by making a valuable contribution to the global challenges facing humanity. B.Sc. Optometry is an Undergraduate Program. Optometry is a health care profession which deals with the examination, diagnosis, treatment and management of diseases and disorders of the visual system. It is a vision care science. One can also define it as the science of eye equipment (including lenses and spectacles) which is imbued with the idea of improving the vision of the human eye and remove all kinds of obstacles of sight which an individual may experience. This is a dynamic and challenging career, which allows one to help people, achieve personal growth, community respect, job flexibility and financial success and offers virtually unlimited opportunities. The program is envisaged to develop a multipurpose ophthalmic manpower at paramedical level. The training enables a student to become a competent person in providing service as an Optician, Optometrist, Refractionist and Ophthalmic Assistant to the community in urban, semi-urban and rural settings in private, semi-Governmental and Governmental sectors.

Students will be able to demonstrate various aspects of ragas and their differentiation. Students will be learning to write the practical compositions according to the Notation system. Students will be understanding the basic terminologies of Indian music. The students will be studying about the life and contribution of the composers of Hindustani music, Western music and Carnatic music. Students will get knowledge about the Gharanas of Hindustani music

Environmental Science basically deals with the scientific study of environmental system (air, water, soil and land), the inherent or induced changes on organisms and the environmental damages incurred as a result of human interaction with the environment. It also deals with the study of technical processes involved in the protection of environment from the potentially deleterious effects of human activity and improving the environmental quality for the health and well beings of humans (Environmental Engineering). Main objective of Environmental Sciences education is to emphasize the importance of sustainable development i.e., economic development without degrading the environment. Hence, it covers the areas as environment and enterprise objectives, scope, and structure of the environment, interaction of nature, society and the enterprise, environment impact assessment, economics of pollution, prevention, environmental management standards etc.
