The PhD programme in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) is a research-based programme. The research can be in any of the broad areas in ECE. The core strength of the institute is currently in the following core areas: signal/speech /image processing, VLSI and embedded systems, robotics, and communications. The mian emphasis of this programme is on a thesis. Work towards the thesis requires a good understanding the state of art in an area, problem formulation, original contributions based on analysis with sufficient mathematical rigour and validation. The research is expected to be of sufficient quality to be publishable in leading international journals and top conferences pertaining to an area of research. This programme has a limited amount of course work that can be completed in one year. The course work is aimed at providing a student with sufficient breadth and to carry out research. The main emphasis is on the research work leading to a thesis. Typically students decide on their research area and faculty advisor within the first year while doing course work.

The undergraduate program B. Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Rayat Bahra University is offered in partnership with Sunstone Eduversity. It is a 2 year UGC approved program having an industry synced curriculum designed to impart relevant and quality management education, essential to develop competent corporate professionals who can suffice the dynamic industry needs and expectations.

Environmental Science basically deals with the scientific study of environmental system (air, water, soil and land), the inherent or induced changes on organisms and the environmental damages incurred as a result of human interaction with the environment. It also deals with the study of technical processes involved in the protection of environment from the potentially deleterious effects of human activity and improving the environmental quality for the health and well beings of humans (Environmental Engineering). Main objective of Environmental Sciences education is to emphasize the importance of sustainable development i.e., economic development without degrading the environment. Hence, it covers the areas as environment and enterprise objectives, scope, and structure of the environment, interaction of nature, society and the enterprise, environment impact assessment, economics of pollution, prevention, environmental management standards etc.

This is an under graduate degree program giving students an opportunity to fortress their skills and apply knowledge by making a valuable contribution to the global challenges facing humanity. The key focus of B.Sc. degree is primarily to understand, reason and improve the world by means of systematic observation, experimentation, modelling and calculation. The programme gives knowledge about the discipline, research methods and basic professional skills pertaining to psychological testing, assessment and counselling Students Understand how psychology can be applied to solve problems facing humankind. The students learn computer literacy, including the ability to use various e-resources, technology and social media. Ability to use skills in specific areas related to chosen specialization (e.g., cognitive, industrial-organizational, clinical, counselling, health, educational, social, community) are developed. The programme helps understanding varied socio-cultural contexts and being mindful of indigenous traditions.
