MPH degree is degree that prepares individuals to work with specific populations and communities to improve their health through awareness, education, policy, and research. A Masters in Public Health program will provide students with a more advanced understanding of the 5 core disciplines of public health (biostatistics, epidemiology, environmental health, health policy & administration, and social & behavioural sciences) and the potential for advanced knowledge in a given specialization.

The course employs use of various tools and techniques combined with orientation on general education. The objective of the program is to create a skilled and versatile teachers striking a balance between theory and practice.

The program is of two years in length (4 semesters), meant for candidates desiring to pursue post-graduate programme in education. Besides preparing teacher educators, the program also aims to prepare educational administrators, supervisors and researchers. The M.Ed. programme comprises of theoretical courses including specialized courses in disciplines of education and related practical/field work including exposure to and training in a teacher education institution. In addition, research work in the form of a dissertation forms an essential part of the programme. The program also provides opportunities for students to extend and deepen their knowledge and understanding of education by specializing in selected areas including Teacher Education and concurrently acquire research related skills.

B.Sc Medical Lab Technology is of three-year duration and involves clinical rotation in final year of study. Clinical rotation provides valuable experience to students giving hands on learning in each discipline of the laboratory and under close supervision of guided faculty. The course is interdisciplinary and students can opt for subjects from other fields besides traditional subjects like Anatomy, Physiology, Microbiology, Cytology and Tissue Culture. B Sc Medical Lab Technology is an undergraduate medical lab technologist course. Medical Lab Technology also called Clinical Laboratory Science. The course teaches students to perform tests that aid in diagnosis and treatment of diseases as well as handling, standardisation, management of advanced lab equipment’s and laboratories.

Geotechnical Engineering  uses soil mechanics and rock mechanics for investigating underground conditions and materials, determine the physical, mechanical and chemical properties of such materials to assess the strength of available natural slopes and the man-made deposit for assessing the risks posed by site conditions. This in turn is useful for designing earthworks and structure. Foundations and monitoring of environmental conditions, land use and foundation construction.

M.Tech in Geotechnical Engineering prepares a student to apply mathematical as well as scientific principles in the process of construction, development, and evaluation of systems and underground components, including land and rock, movement and stabilization, dumping sites. , structural use, and the environmental sustainability of waste and by-products, underground construction, and groundwater content and hazardous substances.

B.Sc-B.Ed program is an undergraduate integrated degree program aimed at improving the quality of teaching education. MTech Structural Engineering is a 2-year post-graduate program. It is a specialized branch of civil engineering that deals with concepts such as structural design, structural stability, general safety, reliability of the construction, withstanding seismic forces and building failures. The course is especially helpful to those who want to get into the construction business and understand how to construct tall buildings, bridges, dams, flyovers and similar such modern structures. One also comes across topics like foundation technology, concrete technology, prefabricated structures, smart structures, steel structures, composite structures and corrosion engineering.

The program has been designed in way to develop graduates with key practical skills and interdisciplinary knowledge essential for tomorrow’s leaders. The program also provides necessary skills in written communication, problem-solving, interpersonal understanding and critical thinking.

Civil engineering, the oldest and broadest of the divisions of engineering, implements a range of public and private projects for improving society’s physical infrastructure and the environment.
