The program is of two years in length (4 semesters), meant for candidates desiring to pursue post-graduate programme in education. Besides preparing teacher educators, the program also aims to prepare educational administrators, supervisors and researchers. The M.Ed. programme comprises of theoretical courses including specialized courses in disciplines of education and related practical/field work including exposure to and training in a teacher education institution. In addition, research work in the form of a dissertation forms an essential part of the programme. The program also provides opportunities for students to extend and deepen their knowledge and understanding of education by specializing in selected areas including Teacher Education and concurrently acquire research related skills.

Civil engineering, the oldest and broadest of the divisions of engineering, implements a range of public and private projects for improving society’s physical infrastructure and the environment. The civil engineer integrates scientific principles with engineering experience to plan, design, and construct networks of highways and railroads, airports, bridges and dams, environmental pollution control systems, industrial structures, water purification and distribution systems, and urban transportation systems that maintain, protect, and enhance the quality of life. Civil engineers are trained to consider the social effects as well as the physical and environmental factors that constrain the planning, design, construction, and operation of their projects. The program gives students the theoretical background, instruction in engineering application of scientific principles, and professional attitude to serve the public.

B.Tech CSE (Data Science) deals with the use of various tools and techniques of science to extract relevant data from a large volume of data available. The course is new and trending and offering students the opportunity to learn techniques and skills like data extraction, analysis of techniques and alike. Students will learn Discrete Structures, Engineering Physics, Mechanical Workshop, Theory of Computation, data inference, algorithm development, and technology to analytically solve complex problems.

The program has been designed in way to develop graduates with key practical skills and interdisciplinary knowledge essential for tomorrow’s leaders. The program also provides necessary skills in written communication, problem-solving, interpersonal understanding and critical thinking.

Mathematics is at the root of many social, technical, medical, and environmental issues faced by society today. The USS mathematical department equips its students with deep understanding of math principles, a toolbox for applying those skills to real-world problems, and the ability to express complex ideas in a way that laypeople can understand.

The Mathematical department provides a solid collegiate math education to every USS student but continues its offerings to include high-level specializations such as statistical forecasting, digital encryption, and mathematical modeling.
