Under the 4-year B.Tech in Information Technology Programme, the IT academicians prepare students to learn to programme in a higher-level language, work effectively with a client and members of a software development team to analyse specify design implement test and document software that meets the client s needs. M. Tech (Biotech) Bio-Engineering and Bio-Informatics is a two-year post-graduate programme designed to expose the students to recent exciting developments in the area of Bioengineering & Bioinformatics and their application in industry, agriculture and medicine. The curriculum of the programme provides students with a strong background in Bioengineering followed by more specific knowledge in the area of choice.

The proposed programme focuses on research and education aimed at developing science & technology and new areas of study that combine computer technology, nanotechnology, bioscience, and bioengineering. M.Tech. in Civil Engineering with specialisation in Geotechnical and Earthquake  Engineering is a two-year postgraduate programme that involves the study of the performance of various kinds of soil under the influence of loading forces and soil-water interactions. This programme trains students to assess the risks from natural hazards such as wind earthquakes landslides etc. and helps them analyse, plan, construct foundations and support structures in such a way that ensure minimum collateral damage in critical situations.

The curriculum for this programme equips students to understand and implement the principles of soil mechanics and rock mechanics for investigation and study of subsurface materials & conditions. Post completion of this programme, students will be able to identify, generate and interpret data, apply numerical methods for modelling, and analyse problems, evaluate the quality of data through testing and measurement equipment and test critical hypotheses using logical and consistent quantitative or qualitative arguments.

B.Tech in Computer Science in IOT & application imparts firm foundation in computer science wireless communication and computer networks. The programme aims to train students with systematic professional knowledge and strong practical skills in the fields of computer technology communications networks and IT that provides a wide range of applications in the Internet of Things. 

The programme equips students with strong skill for sensor network design and network planning for IoT. The topics include- Introduction to IoT Understanding IoT in Market perspective Data and Knowledge Management and use of Devices in IoT Technology Understanding IoT Architecture and the application of IOT in various technologies.

M. Tech (Electrical & Electronics Engineering) Industrial Automation is a two-year post-graduate programme that deals with the study of the use of control devices to control industrial processes and machinery. The coursework of the programme covers important aspects of modern industrial automation such as Autonomous Systems, Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence, Embedded Systems, Modeling and Control Systems.
