M.Tech CSE Networking & Cyber Security is a two-year post-graduate programme that deals with the study of network computing, troubleshoot, cryptography and laws. The objective of the programme is to provide expertise in overseeing and keeping up the security and system structure. This programme is useful to learn how to actively monitor and defend the network and, furthermore, make fundamental security approach and methods.

This programme helps students to utilise cybersecurity measures to protect the data and manage the personal conduct in relation to protecting the data and information. In addition, this post-graduate programme train students to scale up the demand from multiple industrial areas on the cyber world to promote effective methods practices and tools to counter the cybercrime.  

Cryptology and cyber security program aims to be on the forefront and has to necessarily have a good balance between theoretical and practical aspects, analytical methods and system architectures, academic ideas and industry practices. It gives significant thrust to technology, practice, management, and policy issues.

This M. Tech program is of four semesters. It will be providing necessary theoretical background, insight into general and technical aspects of Cryptology and Cyber Security, analytical methods and management practices in the field of Cyber Security and related areas for moldings the student into an Information/cyber security professional.

The entire program will focus on cryptology and communication security, Streaming data analytics over networks, Data Center Security, Cryptanalysis through linguistics, heuristics, statistical learning, machine learning, and analysis of hardware and embedded systems security. These courses will also focuses on theory and practice of authentication, authorization, and access control techniques.       

M.Sc. in Computer Science is a two-year post-graduate programme with the objective to develop human resources with core competence in various thrust areas of Computer Science. The programme includes software engineering, system development, natural computation, mathematical foundations and artificial intelligence. Other modules include programming, data analytics, software development, applied communications, network architecture, and database design. The coursework of the programme focus on preparing students for innovation within major tech companies or entrepreneurship within startup ventures. 

Students are provided with opportunities to develop and hone core competency in the field of computer science and encourage them to make a mark in the much sought after IT industry. Guest lectures, case studies and presentations are organised from time to time to give an insight into the latest development and happenings in the industry.

M.Tech in CSE Software Engineering is a two-year post-graduate programme dedicated to enlighten students with the desiging, implementing, testing, and modifying of the software to make it viable, maintainable and affordable. The programme offer students with a strong base of software engineering principles and applications in scientific and engineering domains.

Few of the topics under this specialisation include Software Requirement and Estimation Software, Quality Metrics and Testing Software, Architecture and Design Patterns, IOT Agile based Software Engineering, Secure Software Engineering, and Component-Based Software Engineering.

The balanced coursework of the programme enable students to practice their learnings in the fully-equipped labs at the University. Post completion of the programme, the students can find employment in the field of research, academics, design & development in software and co-design technologies or any other closely related field.

M. Tech (ME) Machine Design is a two-year post-graduate programme that focuses on the concepts and processes involved in the designing & manufacturing of machines and machine related items. The considerations, procedures and principles of machine design are introduced to the students along with statistical concepts, engineering materials and their mechanical properties.

The programme facilitates the study of various materials required for the design of mechanical elements. In addition, it aims to endow knowledge of the behaviour of materials and systems in both elastic and plastic ranges, failure modes and mechanisms in both static and dynamic conditions. Besides classroom learning, students also get opportunities to be involved in projects that enhance their practical knowledge of the subject and prepare them for the industry-environment.

B.Sc. in Computer Science is a three-year undergraduate programme that focuses on the discipline of computer science. The programme covers important topics related to computer science such as – Coding, Programming languages, Computer Hardware and Software, Networking, Database Management, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics and Electronics.

Tech in Computer Science with specialisation in Data Science & Analytics is a new, exponentially growing field which consists of a set of tools and techniques used to extract useful information from data. The programme encompasses data Science as an interdisciplinary, problem-solving oriented subject that learns to apply scientific techniques to practical problems.

B. Tech in Genetic Engineering is a four-year undergraduate program involving the study of deliberate modification of an organism’s basic characteristics by manipulating its genetic material. This is an advanced branch of science that applies a wide range of scientific techniques to bring out desired changes in the genetic structure or DNA code of living organisms.  

The programme aims to create professionals who are passionate about finding newer and better methodologies for the betterment of the human race at large.   Research agriculture industrial biotechnology and medicine are some of the fields that use Genetic engineering techniques.
