UPES School of Design’s Under Graduate Programme, B.Des. in Graphic & Communication Design prepares students for image design, typography, layout design, branding, design history, research methods, web-based design, digital design, photography, and graphics technology. With growing focus on sustainable design technology, the curriculum imparts knowledge of design and sustainable fundamentals, as well as an understanding of core values, emerging trends and discipline challenges.

In this specialisation, students learn about essential concepts such as data structures, algorithms, OOPS concepts using Java, databases, software engineering and design processes. Students will also obtain an in-depth knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence by implementing relevant real-world problems in a wide variety of application domains such as robotics, computer vision, natural language processing, etc. Students will be experienced in machine learning pipeline, data, models, algorithms, and empirics.

Space Technology deals with the design and analysis of space vehicles, Space flight or space exploration. The curriculum covers areas such as, Space Science & Space Environment, Rocket Propulsion, Orbital Mechanics and Design of Aerospace Vehicles. In the recent year the space industry has undergone significant changes such as reusable launch vehicle and also sees a tremendous amount of increase in commercial opportunities. Most prominently space technology warns people of upcoming disasters ultimately, saves thousands of lives.

This course introduces the essential general programming concepts and techniques – such as Boolean, numbers, loops, function, debugging, specifics of R and Python – to students without prior programming knowledge. On completion, students will be able to identify the dataset characteristics, select and implement the machine learning techniques, and solve problems having high data dimensions and rapid data generation rate along with scalability issues. ?

Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Legislative Law (BBA + LLB) is a five-year integrated dual degree course which provides an integrated study of management studies and legislative law in an entirely independent manner.

This specialised undergraduate program deals with the business, policy governance, regulatory, and legal aspects of various non-renewable/fossil fuels and renewable energy sources. The course covers the business cycle operations, regulatory policies, governance mechanism and all-round legal perspectives in the entire energy basket market including commercial, taxation, and environmental governance aspects.

E-Business has come a long way in the last 15 years. As technology continues to grow at a rapid pace, e-business harnesses new techniques to make online selling and online shopping a lot more efficient and convenient.

Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Legislative Law (BBA + LLB) is a five-year integrated dual degree course which provides an integrated study of management studies and legislative law in an entirely independent manner.

The course trains students to assist clients in setting up and managing their businesses across India. The program is a blend of legal functioning of the corporate entities with compliances required by them. Students will be able to provide end-to-end advisory service regarding the most suitable form of organization, based on the client’s specific needs and objectives. This may include incorporation and setting up of all types of Companies, creating a business setup in India through a branch or liaison office, obtaining statutory approvals and licenses for starting a business from local, municipal, state, and central government authorities.

Integrated (B.Com (Hons)) - (MBA) - Banking and Insurance gives students an in-depth understanding of the economic, financial and banking affairs. It helps students gain adequate knowledge about the management of financial risk along with the general management areas such as strategy, marketing, and organisational studies. The specialisation aims to inculcate training and practical approach among the students by using modern technologies, and also to give adequate exposure to the operational environment in the field of banking.

PhD (Food & Nutrition Sciences) is the highest degree in the field.

Pure mathematics includes developing the fundamental tools used by mathematicians, such as algebra and calculus, describing multi-dimensional space, or a better understanding of the philosophical meaning of mathematics and numbers themselves. Pure mathematics is the study of the basic concepts and structures that underlie mathematics. Its purpose is to search for a deeper understanding and an expanded knowledge of mathematics itself. 

The full term of two years and the syllabus for the program is divided into four semesters. This Master’s program is also an ideal preparation for various PhD programs in basic sciences and engineering.
