B.Sc. (Hons.) Mathematics  is an innovative programme in Mathematics at Undergraduate Level. The three-year undergraduate programme provides a firm foundation in the techniques of modern mathematics and classic mathematics. The content of this program is meticulously prepared to promote the application of Mathematics to physical problems, industrial issues in multidisciplinary environments. This programme would produce graduates who possess analytical and mathematical skills to find solutions to the complex problems of business, accounting and engineering.

Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning (AI &ML) relates to the field of computer science and helps in making the intelligent systems or machines that can simulate the human behaviour, their thinking capability. It works either on the basis of data without or with the explicitly designed program or machine algorithm. Few examples where AI is used are online Game playing, customer support using catboats, robot, intelligent humanoid, Siri, work on artificial intelligence. Machine learning works on the information extracted from data and it is considered as subfield of artificial intelligence. ML is used or predictions or in decision making based on the past data, for example, online recommendations, picture detections, search engine algorithm, auto-friend tagging suggestions etc.

M Tech Computer Science is a 2 year masters degree program that provides the student the ability to understand advanced principles of Computer Science and Engineering to solve problems and to continuously learn multidisciplinary concepts through MTech CSE Syllabus. The first two semesters include courses that cover the advanced topics of CSE. The later semesters involve studying the elective courses within domain or outside domain as open electives. Some courses covered are Distributed Systems, Advanced Computer Networks, Advanced Software Engineering, Algorithms etc.

In view of that Uttaranchal University is offering MBA with specialization in Logistic and Supply Chain Management designed to train budding managers to become future managers in the area of logistics and supply & chain.

The program is a judicious mix of theoretical and practical training in managing the Organizations, People, Technology and Resources in an optimal manner. The program is designed to match the skill set requirements of businesses concerning inventory and transportation services for effective logistic support and supply chain management. The program is a blend of practical and theoretical approaches delivered through interactive classroom sessions, guest lectures, workshops, and industrial visits etc. The pedagogy takes into consideration the dynamic nature of the business.

Food industry is a major industry which requires highly skilled professionals to ensure the food quality, safety and worldwide management. The aim of this course is to provide in-depth study of various areas related to food technology that will enable the students to understand food composition, their nutritional, microbiological, processing and organoleptic aspects. This program also upskills the students in the processing techniques by in hand training in food industries. They are also taught about the importance of food plant sanitation, international and national food laws and regulations applicable in food industry.

Computer Science offers the students a platform to explore the practical and theoretical knowledge of computation, program design, programming, computer hardware and software as well as integrates with other fields of science and engineering. Courses in the field of Computer science are being offered in other domains like Agriculture, Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, etc.

B.Tech ECE with VLSI & Embedded system is a 4 year program offered at Uttaranchal University aims to provide the knowledge and skills in VLSI design methodology and embedded system. The curriculum covers algorithms, System Architecture Verification Techniques, Component requirement for Hardware Model, substantial Designs, and Synthesis & Simulation for VLSI system. The programme also covers thrust areas like Real Time application of VLSI & Embedded Systems, Advanced Microcontrollers, Advanced Embedded System Design, and System on Chip. Apart from the curriculum, the teaching pedagogical activities include industrial visits, seminars, practice on various simulation tools like, workshops on new technologies, and guest lecturers.

B.A. (Hons.) English with research is an undergraduate programme in English Literature. The programme teaches about English Language and Literature and the way it has developed into its modern form along with highlighting varied aspects of English society through its genres like Drama, Poetry, Novel, etc.

The Programme is intended for the students who have a strong interest in English Language and Literature and who show promise in the study of either or both. Students with research inclination receive an intensive educational experience with respect to the courses offered. The student learns to critically analyze and debate on a variety of texts, and acquires knowledge of literary movements, periods and critical approaches. The student develops comprehensive written and spoken communication skills, becoming adept at arguing a point, framing a narrative and analyzing various levels of meaning.

B.Tech CSE with specialization in Cyber Security is a 4 years (or 8 semesters) specialised undergraduate program that focuses on comprehensive knowledge of cyber-crime, network security, cryptography, intrusion detection and prevention systems. To safeguard an IT infrastructure, the program provides essential information on how to analyse and resolve security risks in networks and computer systems. Secure software and hardware must be designed, developed, tested, and evaluated to create rules and procedures for managing security threats in any organisation. In view of this, program also offers in depth knowledge of data structures, algorithm design and analysis, security policies, security laws, firewalls, and computer forensics.

During the course of the program, student work on the latest tools in their laboratory sessions to acquire complete knowledge of the subjects. B. Tech Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Cloud Manufacturing is a multi-disciplinary programme designed keeping in view industry 4.0 requirements. The smart and Cloud based manufacturing is the demand of the future. For these smart factories, to compete, engineers must be adept at managing complexity and shortening product cycle from concept to market. interconnected and intelligent manufacturing system which Students of this course will learn about the latest advances in AI & ML, IOT, Cloud Computing, big data, and controllers, and how they can be applied to the fields of Mechatronics, Robotics, 3D Printing, and Nanotechnology etc.
