BA (Hons) Economics aims to develop the necessary skills to analyze economic phenomena. Students will develop the necessary skills to empirically validate economic theories. The significance of the Programme lies in the statistical methods in research which will develop research-based skills to construct and analyze qualitative and quantitative data. The Programme will enable the students to understand the economic issues at the local and global level and also to critically analyze government Policies and Programmes announced and implemented to resolve the issues.

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a phrase that refers to physical substance that are make by softwares, sensors and different techniques that allow to communicate with other equipment and systems over the Internet. The M.Tech in IoT is a 2 year programme which is specialized curriculum that aims to provide students with in-depth knowledge of the Internet of Things’. This programme covers all you need to know about Systems Design Engineering, Wireless Sensor Protocol Programming, IoT Language and Technology, and more. M.tech in IoT will provide the latest technology experience to the students by collaborating with various organizations like INTEL, TEXAS INSTRUMENTS etc.In addition to the course, curriculum students will also work on the platforms like Arduino, Raspberry Pi, TI Launchpad, Node MCU, IoT modules, PIC, etc.

Pharmaceutical Chemistry is an interdisciplinary field concerned with the design and synthesis of different types of drug from the biologically active molecules. The field of pharmaceutical chemistry is very dynamic and combines a broad range of scientific disciplines such as drug discovery development and also therapies.  It provides students with a thorough understanding of drug mechanism of action, structure activity relationship (SAR), acid base and physico- chemical properties and absorption, metabolism and toxicity profiles.

M.Sc. Pharmaceutical Chemistry is a 2 year, post-graduate degree program involve aspects related to the general chemistry, organic chemistry, synthesis and analysis with different analytical techniques for their characterizations as well as their utilization.

The main objective is to develop skilled pharmaceutical chemists, with a thorough understanding and knowledge of drug and their action and utilize their potential to work efficiently and effectively in an interdisciplinary atmosphere.

The program B.Tech Civil Engineering with specialization in BIM is 4 years (or 8 semesters) undergraduate program to help students learning expertise in the field of building information modeling. Program will expose students to Building Information Modeling (BIM), a technology-assisted model-based project delivery approach that brings together different built environment disciplines.  BIM plays a crucial role in building documentation and students completing this course will have the skills required for jobs in BIM-related fields or to pursue BIM further in their post-graduation degree. In the labs, students will learn computer graphics, programming, 3D computer modeler, BIM software for controlling construction process, workflows and protocols.

Information technology jobs comprise the design, development, administration, and maintenance of a system’s many components, such as software, hardware, networks, systems integration, and multimedia. B.Sc. (IT) graduates are always in high demand and in view of that Uttaranchal University offers B. Sc IT, a three-year undergraduate program designed to fulfil the requirements of the IT industries.

B.SC. (IT) program includes courses like Programming using Python, Advance PHP, Advance JAVA, Android App Development, Cyber Security, Data Warehouse and Data Mining, Enterprise Resource Planning, Digital Marketing, Computer Graphics and Animation, Design and Analysis of Algorithm.

B.Tech CSE with specialization in Cyber Security is a 4 years (or 8 semesters) specialised undergraduate program that focuses on comprehensive knowledge of cyber-crime, network security, cryptography, intrusion detection and prevention systems. To safeguard an IT infrastructure, the program provides essential information on how to analyse and resolve security risks in networks and computer systems. Secure software and hardware must be designed, developed, tested, and evaluated to create rules and procedures for managing security threats in any organisation. In view of this, program also offers in depth knowledge of data structures, algorithm design and analysis, security policies, security laws, firewalls, and computer forensics.

During the course of the program, student work on the latest tools in their laboratory sessions to acquire complete knowledge of the subjects. Biotechnology is a 3-year program with an enriched curriculum comprising of basic courses (cell biology, biochemistry, animal and plant physiology, developmental biology) and applied courses (plant and animal biotechnology, bioinformatics, bioprocess technology and others). Aerospace is a branch of engineering that involves the science, design, and manufacturing of Aircrafts, Rockets and Spacecraft. The world of Aerospace engineering today is involved in the design of reusable spacecraft and rockets for space exploration, hypersonic transport aircraft for faster travel, drones of multidisciplinary applications including military applications, glide and cruise capable hypersonic missiles, stealthy reconnaissance and fighter aircrafts, and many more. The B. Tech. in Aerospace Engineering program is meant to create industry-ready professionals by training students on varied technical fields of aerospace engineering involving design, analysis, maintenance, process engineering, and manufacturing of aircrafts, rockets, missiles, spacecraft, helicopters satellites and drones.
