M.Sc. Mathematics is a two-year postgraduate program which is being divided into four semesters. This degree has been awarded to those who complete the program. In this degree, candidates get a deeper knowledge of advanced mathematics through a vast preference of subjects such as geometry, calculus, algebra, number theory, dynamical systems, differential equations, etc. The students become more skilled and specialized in a particular subject after the master degree program. In this program, students learn to collect big data and analyse them with the help of different tools and methods.

B.A.LL.B. offers students the opportunity to enter the field of legal education at a very early stage of their academic career. It is the integrated programme of law where students get the opportunity to simultaneously study law and humanities. The allied subjects offered under this programme are English, Political Science, History, Sociology, Business Studies, and Management.

B.Tech Civil Engineering is a 4 years (8 semesters) undergraduate program designed to create engineers who can work for the society for creating space to improve their living standard, create safe and secure environment from natural and manmade disasters. The teaching – learning pedagogy involves not only class room teaching but also experiential learning through practical in the lab, fields and interactions with experts, training in workshops, internships, live projects and field work. Students are taught variety of courses in the field of structural engineering, transportation engineering, water supply and waste water treatment, environment engineering, foundation engineering, surveying, estimation and costing etc. Apart from that students have exposure to software learning relevant to industry and it is ensured that students are industry ready after leaving the college life and easily adaptive to the new environment through skill development based courses.

Geographical Information System (GIS) is an inter-disciplinary field that builds expertise in the application of geospatial technologies to the most important real-world concerns in the areas of the environment, earth sciences, social sciences, and economics. The field focuses on translating geospatial data into useful end-user information by using acquisition, processing, characterisation, analysis, and modelling to better understand geographic patterns, processes, and interactions at all scales, from macro to global.

The MBA programme is designed to match the needs and requirements of industry and commerce and to fulfil the aspirations of future managers. Managers need to be perceptive, thoughtful, and flexible to manage their internal and external environment. They have to be proactive, versatile and have the knowledge and skill to explore new market and opportunities. They need to provide practical, workable solution to a range of complex problems. BA (Hons) Economics aims to develop the necessary skills to analyze economic phenomena. Students will develop the necessary skills to empirically validate economic theories. The significance of the Programme lies in the statistical methods in research which will develop research-based skills to construct and analyze qualitative and quantitative data. The Programme will enable the students to understand the economic issues at the local and global level and also to critically analyze government Policies and Programmes announced and implemented to resolve the issues.

The need of MBA- IB arises due to the changing environment of companies which are now focusing on global market. MBA – International Business comprises various courses such as international trade procedure and documentation, international marketing logistics, Multinational Financial Management, Export- Import Management, International Marketing Management, Cross-Cultural and Behaviour and Legal Dimensions of International Business.

Microbiology, a branch of medicine and is a study of microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites. These bacteria can cause various diseases in human beings. B.Sc. Medical Microbiology provides students with the knowledge of microbial pathogenesis, epidemiology, disease pathology, and immunology. The programme trains aspirants to perform effective treatment on infectious diseases and make certain clinical applications of microbes for the improvement of health. Along with the study of pathology, biochemistry, and immunology, students will also learn about the human immune system and the immune response to a variety of infectious microbes.

BSc Nursing is a four-year undergraduate programme offered by Uttaranchal University to prepare students to assume responsibilities as competent nurses in providing promotive, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative services. The programme enables the students to apply knowledge from physical, biological, and behavioural sciences in providing nursing care to individuals, families and communities.
