In this unique composite major, you’ll study courses in both media studies and expressive arts. You’ll blend theory with creative practice.

Expressive arts is unique in New Zealand and was created in response to student demand. You’ll get to study a combination of the three creative discipline areas of theatre, creative writing, or digital media production.

In the media studies part of your study, you will learn about the production, consumption and content of media and their social, cultural, political and economic implications.

You will learn how decisions are made on what is communicated, how media forms and industry structures shape those messages, and how this impacts our lives and understanding of the world.

With Massey’s Master of Arts (Economics) you’ll build on your undergraduate interests and develop your analysis and research skills. The Graduate Diploma in Business Studies enables you to explore other business subjects without completing a second bachelor’s degree. This is an undergraduate diploma, designed for those who do not have a degree in the subject(s) you wish to pursue. You need to be a university graduate to enrol in this qualification.

Undertake a shorter, more flexible study option with the Diploma in Science and Technology at Massey.
Later you may have courses you have passed under the diploma qualification credited to a bachelor’s degree. That will be on the proviso that the courses comply with the regulations of the degree in question.

The course is open to anyone who has gained admission to Massey University, but in some cases, specific courses may require a subject background at level 3 NCEA.

Massey’s Master of Finance (Financial Analytics and Research) combines the study of advanced finance theory and research to complete the qualification.
As a graduate of the Master of Finance (Financial Analytics and Research) specialisation, you’ll:

• Develop an international perspective within the discipline of finance
• Further develop your knowledge and skills in financial analytics
• Understand and be able to apply research philosophy to the business environment
• Practised in clearly and concisely communicating research findings

The specialisation requires completion and presentation of either a comprehensive research report on an independent research topic in finance.
