This degree is designed for those with a drive to succeed in business, with a practical focus, and a flexible structure. Students can choose from a range of majors and elective modules, and will gain a broad range of business skills, as well as specialist skills and work experience in their chosen major. Students will have the opportunity to undertake collaborative real-world projects with students from other disciplines, and with industry.

Strategic Management

In their first year, students will complete the eight core modules required for the applied management degree. These modules will give students the important broad skills they will need to excel in any business area. During their second year, students will take three modules for the strategic management major, choose three other modules toward a second major, and study two core modules – Applied Management and Research Methodology. In the third year, students will study two more strategic management modules and two other modules towards a second major. Students will also apply their skill on work placement with a local business.

Bachelor of Teaching (ECE) is an Initial Teacher Education (ITE) degree. An ITE qualification is the requirement to become a beginning teacher in Aotearoa, New Zealand. Approved and monitored by the Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand, this degree is designed for those who would like to pursue a career as a qualified early childhood education teacher.

The Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Informatics program has been developed to meet increasing demand from industry and organisations for professionals with interdisciplinary knowledge and information management skills. This program provides a professional development pathway for graduates with a relevant degree. Students will learn about the social, cultural, and organisational settings in which information is used. Areas of specialisation could include e-commerce, strategic planning, organisational behaviour, and services management.

This programme is about the use of information systems as solutions in business environments. Students will learn how the analysis and implementation of information systems can deliver information to the right people in the most effective time and ways.

This program is for those with a degree in another subject who want to progress their career into operations management. Students will develop specialist skills in analysis and logistics to plan and implement production efficiencies. This programme includes a work placement and research project.

All modules in the Graduate Diploma in Operations and Production Management are compulsory, there are no elective modules. Students will study five modules specific to Operations and Production Management covering subjects

Students in this program will develop the professional skills required to work within the complex and interprofessional social service and health communities. Additional to what many other counselling program offer, it includes a mental health and addictions focus. Placement is a significant element of this program.

The Bachelor of Technology is an innovative, practically-orientated and future-focused degree.

Agritechnology
Agritechnology is about the science of agriculture, including soil and plant analysis, and plant and animal production. People who choose this pathway can work in positions as researchers or laboratory technicians with a focus on agriculture.

Students in this program will advance their ability to innovate in the workplace allowing them to immerse themselves into the enterprise environment and gain a postgraduate qualification whilst in employment. This program offers an accessible academic and professional career development opportunity in research and innovation at postgraduate level, relevant to all disciplines.

Students in the Bachelor of Design programme will develop their creativity, innovation, and design capabilities to find new ways to visually and strategically solve challenges for brands and organisations.

Spatial design
Students will develop designs focusing on functional interior spaces and design fundamentals that span across both residential and commercial disciplines while learning the skills needed to thrive in the industry, including pitching to clients and overseeing a project from start to finish. They will learn:

This programme will assist practitioners in gaining advanced knowledge and skills to effectively manage the demands of rapidly changing, and increasingly complex health and social care practice environments.

This practice-based learning approach will enhance students' ability to engage in future professional and work-related challenges.

The Master of Nursing Science (Pre-registration) (MNSc (Pre-reg)) programme is a 4-semester two-year programme. The MNSc (Pre-reg) allows degree qualified students a direct and faster route to a nursing career. On successful completion, graduates will be awarded a Master of Nursing Science (Pre-registration) and be eligible to apply to the Nursing Council of New Zealand (NCNZ) to sit the State Final Examination to become a registered nurse.
