Chemistry is a dynamic, multi-faceted subject. This integrated masters course places emphasis on research alongside developing your laboratory, practical and professional skills.

You'll study polymer and industrial chemistry and analytical chemistry. A research project will enhance your skills in experimental design, critical analysis and problem-solving. Through analysis of published writing, you'll consider language and style. In Year 3, the course culminates in a major research project, covering a topic of your choice. You'll also complete a creative writing dissertation.

On this practical course, you'll develop practical coaching skills as well as studying the science behind effective coaching, performance, leadership and sports analysis. You'll have access to sophisticated equipment to measure the physiological responses to exercise and analyse sports movements and skills.
