This course is concerned with understanding the Earth's environments and the global concerns of humanity. It offers a perfect balance of skills learning and practical fieldwork.

Fieldwork takes place in the UK and Europe*. Subjects include data collection, project management, social policy analysis, urban planning and design, environmental monitoring and management.

Teaching on the course will support your professional development. It often takes place with planning departments, environmental agencies, business support networks, community organisations and town centre management teams.

This course offers key skills in pharmaceutical analysis, including measurement, scientific practice, evaluation and interpretation of data. You will study recent trends in analytical science and techniques and be introduced to pharmaceutical technologies, such as formulations and clinical pharmacokinetics. Through your research project, you will develop valuable research skills. Past projects have examined areas such as determining caffeine and its metabolites in human serum samples using GC-MS, and synthesis and use of compounds as probes for biochemical reactions.

If you are interested in becoming a construction manager, ensuring that projects are completed on time, to budget and to a specified quality, this course is ideal. It combines an emphasis on management with a grounding in the technical aspects of construction and engineering.

Applying psychology to business can offer insight into how individuals and groups behave. This course combines psychological theory with business understanding. This course, one of a suite of digital media courses, enables you to study professional digital media practice in a microstudio environment with a focus on the programming skills necessary for the field of games development. Through a student-centred project-based curriculum, you will work as a games programmer to develop your specialist skills while working as part of an interdisciplinary team with students from across the full programme.
