Kingston University has its own scene-of-crime house located on site, which is used to recreate crime scenes and enables you to put your investigative skills into practice. The property's garden is used by the forensic team's archaeologist for field investigations.

Lecturers on the course have wide experience in the forensics sector and many have worked either as forensic scientists or as expert witnesses. They are also actively engaged in forensic research, and are supported by visiting speakers from leading forensic consultancies.

The Psychology MSc is a conversion course for graduates from disciplines other than Psychology who wish to gain GBC (Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership). This is the first step for those who wish to work as a Chartered Psychologist in the UK. GBC ensures that a student has sufficient knowledge, understanding and experience of academic Psychology before they apply for postgraduate professional training in areas such as clinical, occupational, educational or counselling psychology.

This Film Studies MA is an innovative programme which situates film at the centre of a range of critical and historical debates. The course covers a wide variety of classical and contemporary cinemas, including examples from British, American, European, and global traditions, exploring them through a range of theoretical approaches. The course enables you to develop your skills of critical and textual analysis, leading to greater appreciation and understanding of the central role cinema has played – and continues to play – in shaping our world.

This MA offers the opportunity to carry out research into a variety of areas, including gender and sexuality on screen; philosophy and film; industry and independents in New Hollywood; contemporary British, European and transnational traditions; and experimental and avant-garde cinema.
