This may be dance science, dance education, choreography, dance writing, and so many more. You'll gain an in-depth knowledge of dance practice alongside transferable skills that will allow you to pursue diverse career avenues in the creative fields. It’s a highly individual course with the freedom to tailor the final year’s contents to your interests, strengths, and passions.

The course offers two distinct exit awards in Choreography and Dance Science.

Our course promotes your comprehensive knowledge of dance practices and the contemporary, historical and diverse cultural contexts in which it is practiced and produced. We strongly believe in applying everything you learn into practice and that’s why you will receive practical training, taught by highly experienced artists.

You'll develop your professional skills through examining, reflecting and engaging in industry-focused projects as well as exposure to related creative disciplines. We provide performance opportunities in our state of the art facilities, which include four fully equipped dance studios, plus a specialist dance theatre, and through our strong artistic relationships with external professional venues. The campus is located close to central London, so you’ll be near the most exciting cultural events in the country.

There are a wide range of opportunities for you once you graduate across the creative industries. Previously, graduates have worked with some of the best dance companies in the UK and further abroad, while others go on to work in choreography, arts administration jobs in world renowned organisations, teaching in the private and public sectors, and further study.

The MA Fine Art at Middlesex offers artists time and resources to explore and develop their artistic practice within a flexible research-led course featuring some of the best art facilities in London and expert guidance from a range of leading artists, academics and curators attached to the course.

On our MA in Fine Art you will explore the creative, cultural, political and social questions of art practice. Genomic technologies are transforming the Biomedical sciences. Recent developments in DNA sequencing are creating unprecedented opportunities in molecular diagnostics, personal medicine and (infectious) disease prevention. There is a clear need for genomics specialists that can analyse and interpret genome data in a (bio)medical context.

This is an interdisciplinary programme with teaching provided by Life Sciences and Computer Science research active academics as well as other experts in the field. You will gain a comprehensive understanding of how changes in the genome relate to human disease. You will be trained to pursue a career in medical genomics in academia and industry.

Following the British Society of Echocardiography syllabus, this Cardiac Ultrasound course meets the practical, theoretical and technical demands of a specialised career in healthcare.

Taught by industry recognised experts, this course provides a solid grounding in research methodologies, experimental design and statistics — delivering all the transferable skills required for a career executing specialist cardiac ultrasound procedures. Following the British Society of Echocardiography (BSE) syllabus, you will be equipped with the advanced theory and practice of cardiac ultrasound and signal processing.

With a significant leaderships and management component, the course teaches the management, legal and ethical concepts required of leadership positions. This degree is designed to provide you with an in-depth understanding of crime and criminal justice at national and international levels. It promotes a critical and comparative approach to crime and justice issues intended to equip you with the skills and knowledge required to deal with a range of traditional and non-traditional crime, justice and deviancy issues.

The course looks at contemporary problems such as terrorism and the priorities of global policing, human rights and justice, environmental justice and transnational crime. The international and transnational dimension of crime is an integral part of the programme.

Criminology at Middlesex has a particularly strong international reputation. The Department was pioneering in an in?uential strand of criminology called 'left realism', and established one of the very ?rst courses of its kind in the UK, which is still considered to be one of the leading postgraduate criminology courses.
