This versatile master's degree combines cognitive and clinical approaches to neuroscience. We’re the only undergraduate degree accredited by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH). By studying with us you’ll get access to specialist teaching and learning spaces, including a food inspection laboratory and a Grade 2 microbiology laboratory.

Our guest lectures and industry links will give you the opportunity to further enhance your knowledge of areas including practical food inspection, food safety, health and safety, and private sector housing.

Once you’ve completed your environmental health course, CIEH learning portfolio and professional interview, you’ll gain a Certificate of Registration from the Environmental Health Registration Board (EHRB), which means you’ll be qualified as an Environmental Health Officer.

As well as gaining an in-depth knowledge of the subject, you will also gain the ability to investigate environmental health issues in a range of contexts and apply your knowledge of environmental health stressors to solve complex problems. You will be able to interpret data and design novel solutions to environmental health issues, as well as performing practical food inspections.
