The study of Art History gives you the opportunity to see and interpret moments in history through their architecture and material culture. The parameters of the Art History major at NCH have been set as widely as possible, from Europe to China, with a time span that extends from antiquity to the contemporary. The courses include cultural surveys as well as more intense media-specific subjects including architecture, landscape, painting and ceramics. The Politics & International Relations with Art History BSc (Hons) will provide you with knowledge of the kinds of institutions people live under, and how artists and culture have responded to those institutions.
