The University of Bradford and Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust have partnered to establish an off-site nursing school and degree programme at Dewsbury and District Hospital.

The school aims to boost nursing recruitment for the Trust and widen degree course participation in the local area by offering our existing pre-registration BSc (Hons) Nursing programme in Adult Nursing.

Clinical practice experience makes up 50% of time on this three year programme.

You will gain a variety of experience within the Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust. There may also be an opportunity for you to practice abroad.

Fundamental knowledge and skills will be learnt and practiced first, before you develop specific in-depth knowledge and skills to meet complex health needs of people.

The MA in Peace, Conflict and Development Studies provides an advanced understanding of the inter-relationships between conflict, development, security, and governance in developing, fragile, transitional and/or conflict affected regions and countries. Digital data can be used for a variety of purposes:

• Providing new ways of engaging with the public
• Providing access to remote sites or inaccessible collections that are otherwise difficult to reach.

Our new Architectural Engineering degree combines the art of design with the construction of buildings. The programme is designed to produce tomorrow’s engineers, able to work in multidisciplinary teams to design, construct, maintain and operate our infrastructure utilising the latest technological tools and techniques.

The programme embraces the Conceiving-Designing-Implementing-Operating (CDIO) educational framework for producing the next generation of “work-ready” engineers. Studying Architectural Engineering will empower you as a graduate engineer to liaise and communicate effectively and efficiently with Architects to ensure both functional and aesthetic design. You will gain a solid technical ground in structural engineering, and appreciation and understanding of contemporary global architectural design. UN Sustainable Development Goals are embedded throughout the programme and practiced in the design projects to achieve a sustainable and resilient built environment.
