The MSc Innovation and Entrepreneurship will teach you how to apply your existing undergraduate degree knowledge in real-world business challenges appropriate to both starting and joining innovative organisations, including:

This programme shares much of its teaching with our other MSc and MA Innovation and Entrepreneurship programmes but maintains a broad perspective allowing you to adapt your focus over time.

This course will develop the high-level skills and critical competencies needed for successful organisational innovation and entrepreneurship, through a largely practice-orientated educational approach based on collaborative teamwork across disciplines and cultures.

Our intensive one-year MSc Management with a specialism in Leadership, Strategy and Change is for graduates from a wide range of subject backgrounds. It is not necessary to have any prior academic or practical experience in business or management. This program is for students who aspire to management-level and leadership roles within their chosen industry.

Our MSc Management pathways provide an introduction to management, followed by a detailed exploration of a specific area of management theory and practice, in this case Leadership, Strategy and Change. The program attracts students from around the globe and you will work with students with different backgrounds and interests.

You will develop an in-depth understanding of the theories and practices that underpin leading change in the contemporary organisational context, characterised by volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity.

We aim to guide, teach and develop analytical and confident critical thinkers. You will critically evaluate areas such as strategic leadership and leading complex change, including contemporary leadership challenges such as sustainability, diversity, ethical leadership and leading virtual teams.

You will be armed with the knowledge to apply academic theory to practice. Group work and presentations, often based on industry case studies, allow practical application of theory, and develop the teamwork and communication skills expected in today's workplace.

For philosophy you will study units covering introduction to philosophy, logic, and realism and normativity.

Both the Department of Philosophy and the School of Modern Languages encourage strong synergy between research and teaching, resulting in a vibrant learning environment for students.

Examine the interactions between the geology, biology, chemistry and physics of Earth’s surface, oceans and atmosphere and gain a deep understanding of Earth’s environment and how it can be influenced by human activities.

By your final year you’ll be conducting your own independent research and exploring the questions that matter most to you.

We have a friendly community and a program of student-run projects, informal seminars and social events. Field trips are a huge part of why our school community is so tight knit, giving you the chance to get to know your course mates and key staff, while honing your practical skills. You will gain plenty of hands-on experience, with over 40 days of fieldwork both in the UK and overseas, the cost of which is included in your tuition fee.

Biomedical engineering is an emerging field in the UK that involves applying physical, chemical, mathematical, computer science and engineering principles to the analysis of biological, medical, behavioural and health-related problems. Biomedical engineers develop innovative devices and procedures to help prevent, diagnose and treat diseases. It relies on an in-depth understanding of science and engineering fundamentals, combined with a broad knowledge of physiological and anatomical systems.

This program will enable you to gain expertise in this exciting field and covers both theory and practical applications. You will acquire analytical tools and a broad physical knowledge of modern engineering and science. This is combined with a fundamental understanding of anatomical and physiological systems, and familiarity with recent technological breakthroughs.

Our BSc Psychology is recognised by the British Psychological Society as qualification for graduate registration and our course is specifically designed to meet its requirements.

In the first year you will study psychology, research methods (laboratory classes and statistics) and an open unit in another school.

In the second year you will focus on research methods and units in the psychology core curriculum.

The final year of the degree is entirely option based, allowing you to choose from a range of lecture and seminar units that you will undertake together with a research project.

This MSc conversion program is for students from a variety of academic backgrounds who have little or no previous academic computing experience. The aims of the programme are to build:

• An understanding of the basis of computer science and its importance in software development;
• An understanding of the underlying principles of computer systems and their applications;
• An introduction to industrial-style methods of analysis, design, implementation, testing and documentation in software development;
• An appreciation of the current state and future directions of technological advances in computer science.
