Driven by this emerging trend, the demand for hybrid experts in both finance and technology has drastically increased. Our MSc Financial Technology provides progressive learning towards the frontiers of knowledge in finance, information technology, and how the two intertwine.

You will study modern finance theory, financial markets, information technology and its application in finance. This will help prepare you to become a hybrid expert in the finance and the technology industries, enhance lifelong learning skills and personal development to contribute to society at large.

This masters course is an exciting and challenging course, combining the food sciences with management skills. It equips science and engineering graduates for a career in food production or technical management in the food industry. You will acquire the knowledge associated with food processing and quality assurance. It also develops essential management techniques including supply chain planning and quality management.

Factory visits, case studies and guest speakers from industry will give you plenty of industry exposure throughout the year. Tackle the real-life industry problems in our problem-based learning module. The briefs from industry will be used for a new product development project. You will do the practical in our Food Processing Facility which hosts a wide range of commercial scale food production and testing equipment.

There is an opportunity to complete your research project in collaboration with the food industry. Projects can be factory, laboratory or literature based. Some of our students do it on an industry placement.

As an operations manager you will have highly developed strategic abilities that ensure your business runs smoothly and maintains a competitive advantage. Our MSc will give you the broad skillset you need to excel in global operations management positions.

Designed specifically for students from a non-clinical background, Applied Sport and Exercise Medicine allows you to specialise in the theory of managing sports injuries and illnesses, exploring the relationship between exercise and health, and get real life experience in the field.

As part of the course you'll receive special training courses to allow you to do CPR and first aid as well as taping and sports massage.

We'll help you get there with placements at real sporting events throughout your time with us and teaching from leading clinicians, research scientists, and sports and exercise medicine experts.
