Overview
Pharmacists are experts in medicines who work alongside doctors, nurses and dentists as part of healthcare teams.
As a pharmacy graduate, you’ll need to understand the science behind drug discovery, development and delivery along with how patients react to the medicines they take. You’ll also have to understand individual patient care and public health issues to deliver the best health and pharmaceutical care.
Our pharmacy degree combines science and pharmacy from the start. Our aim is to provide you with the skills and knowledge to be a medicines expert to choose from the full range of pharmacy careers.

Social Policy examines the ways in which societies distribute resources and develop services to meet individual and social needs. Key social policy issues examined include poverty; economic, race, age and gender inequality; social justice health; education; criminal justice and housing.
It utilises a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods to improve our understanding of how societies organise their resources to meet individual and social needs and how they measure progress in these areas.

It draws on disciplines such as history, sociology, anthropology, economics, law, psychology, social anthropology and politics.

Master of Science in Advanced Naval Architecture

You’ll be part of a group of three to five people working as a consultant team for 10 weeks. You'll address a practical engineering problem and have the opportunity to present the report to a panel of industry experts. The project will provide you with an enriched experience in the selection, conceptualisation, and designing of a novel vessel or an offshore asset. It'll also include a thorough market review, concept, and focused design studies and techno-economic analysis in a simulated design project environment.
