History and French combines wide-ranging historical study with the exploration of French language and culture.

You'll develop your language skills, with a focus on becoming a high-level communicator. Gain a critical understanding of the process of corporate globalisation through in-depth coverage of the main topics in corporate governance and commercial law.

Throughout this course you'll explore the differences in laws and governance in countries across the globe, and how they respond to economic and social pressures. You'll assess these approaches in times of economic stability and in crisis, with a particular focus on corporate governance and on commercial transactions.

By the end of this course, you'll have developed a comprehension of how commercial decisions are made taking into account their economic and social context. You'll understand the nature of the company, company law and how corporate governance operates, leaving you well-equipped to enter the world of commercial law.

Combining practical workshops with seminar explorations and discussions, you'll focus on your work as an active theatre-maker, and will learn the critical and interpretative skills needed to map and analyse the processes of theatre-making at an ambitious level. You'll have full use of our industry-standard rehearsal and production facilities for creative investigation of plays and performance texts, and to develop your own work. You'll benefit from contact with leading theatre-makers through theatre projects, masterclasses, lectures and workshops.

Develop your own areas of interest and expertise in generative syntax and/or formal semantics and their interfaces (with phonology or pragmatics).

You'll be taught the language component of the course in German, and will become confident using German as a means of communication, as well as for critical thinking. By combining the study of the German language with philosophy, you'll gain an unparalleled insight into the work of thinkers such as Kant and Hegel. The MSc programme is built around core modules that cover the fundamental principles of pharmacology, the clinical relevance of drugs for the major organ systems and the fundamental processes involved in clinical trials. Alongside the pharmacology component, there are core modules covering learning and teaching, assessment and research methods to train educators of tomorrow.

You will finish your year with us by conducting a significant research project focussing on generation of novel data to support and improve pharmacology education for both science or medical professions. We will support you to increase your chances of getting your work published.
