Recent reports show how vital the automotive sector is to a prosperous UK economy with its contribution reaching over £20 billion. Last year, the manufacturing sector turned over a record-breaking £82 billion, marking the automotive industry as the UK’s largest manufacturing export sector. This honours degree has been designed for the automotive industry in response to the shortfall of mechanical engineers. It is for those who have a strong interest in mechanical engineering and a clear desire to develop their knowledge and skills in automotive engineering. 

The course fully explores the engineering, design, analysis and development of modern cars using various race cars as support for teaching. It also puts emphasis on learning transferable skills applicable to many other industries.

The Football Coaching and the Performance Specialist degree is an innovative programme which integrates football coaching awards into an academic course to help you gain employment in the football industry.
The degree is designed in partnership with the Football Association of Wales (FAW), expanding your football-specific knowledge and its application to the football environment. 

Students will

• be prepared to work as a coach or performance specialist (Physiologist, Psychologist, Performance Analyst or Development Officer) in the world of football
• develop practical coaching skills in addition to developing an understanding of the application of sports science (physiology, psychology, performance analysis) and the social context of the sport of football

Aircraft aerodynamics and flying and handling performances are always the most important and challenging aspects for aircraft designs, particularly with the consideration of advanced materials and advanced aircraft technologies.

At Wrexham Glyndwr University, the MSc Engineering (Aeronautical) will enable candidates to develop a deep understanding and solid skills in aerodynamics and aerodynamic design of aircraft, grasp detailed knowledge and application principles of composite materials and alloys, critically review and assess the application and practice of advanced materials in modern aircraft, model and critically analyse aircraft flight dynamic behaviour and apply modern control approaches for control-configured aircraft.
