When you major in Art (B.A.), you’ll take your passions to new levels of creativity and expression. You’ll start with a foundational year, where you’ll get exposure to every medium from drawing to metalsmithing to ceramics to digital art. In the B.A. program, you’ll become adept at studio arts, and can focus on history or integrated visual studies, which combines art coursework with coursework from another discipline.

Art History - Concentration
The Art History concentration seeks to develop students' critical and analytical skills and their ability to comprehend global visual arts within social, historical, cultural, and aesthetic frameworks. Students learn about the visual and material culture of societies from around the world and across time, reflecting the global turn in the discipline of Art History today. Our program offers a diverse array of courses that range from the Italian Renaissance to contemporary African art, women in art, and native North American art. Supply Chain Management - Concentration
Supply chain management connects you directly with the resources that keep businesses moving. Customer demands drive much of the world economy, and businesses that can best meet these needs in the most cost- and time-effective manner enjoy the most success. Developing systems and strategies for connecting people with goods, services, and other resources quickly is the core of the supply chain management concentration.

Metalsmithing - Concentration
The Metalsmithing concentration offers students the opportunity to explore a range of traditional techniques and processes, while emphasizing formal and conceptual development within their own artistic practice. Class projects introduce and strengthen technical skills, and provide awareness of both historical and contemporary practice within the field.

Students are encouraged to enter regional and national juried exhibitions, to participate in workshops and conferences, and ultimately to locate and establish a place for themselves within the field of contemporary jewelry and metalsmithing, either professionally, academically, or both.

The master’s degree in design and merchandising with a specialization in apparel and merchandising provides a focus on scientific discovery and creative scholarship grounded in sustainability, health and wellness, and social responsibility. You will have an opportunity to learn about and conduct research in diverse fields of the discipline including apparel design and production, consumer behavior, historic costume and textiles, merchandising, product development, social-psychological and cultural aspects of dress, and textile science supporting well-being.

The Master of Applied Statistics Statistical Science Specialization emphasizes the practical application of statistics.
