International Business
Illinois State University is the only public university in Illinois offering a major in International Business. If you have studied a foreign language in high school, if you want to major in business, if you are interested in the international expansion of business, then this is the right major for you!

International Business is an interdisciplinary program, combining core courses in general business and foreign languages with advanced courses in international business. Students choose a specific concentration from marketing, finance, insurance, management, business information systems, or accountancy. Advanced courses in business look not only at international activities in the different majors, but also at the way cultures affect business and the legal environments of different countries.

Computer Systems Technology
The Computer Systems Technology program prepares technology professionals to manage computer systems and develop applications in a variety of settings. Students develop knowledge and communication skills to successfully collaborate on projects.

The sequence introduces quality management tools to enhance customer and supplier relations, strategic planning, and measurement systems to improve overall organizational performance. Students will learn and apply quantitative analytical modeling techniques to solve decision problems and risk situations faced by project managers. In addition, an overview of six sigma data-driven decision making methodologies will be introduced to gain insights into advanced quality based industrial management techniques.

The Music Therapy sequence provides academic content and clinical experiences related to competencies outlined by the American Music Therapy Association.

Students who complete the Music Therapy degree are eligible to sit for the national board certification exam to obtain the credential MT-BC (Music Therapist - Board Certified), which is necessary for professional practice.

Information Systems - Internet Application Development
Internet Application Development is a master's sequence in Information Systems and is ideal for students seeking advanced knowledge in web development. The program provides specialized education in emerging technologies, including mobile application development.

Based on your professional goals, you can choose to do a thesis, project, or take extra courses to complete the program.

The Master of Music in Jazz Performance program prepares students to improve as a jazz performer and improviser. The curriculum includes:

• Private jazz instruction
• Small and large ensembles
• Improvisation
• Other traditional academic music courses such as research, history and literature, etc.

Students are required to perform at least one graduate jazz recital.

M.S. in Biological Sciences with sequences in: Behavior, Ecology, Evolution, and Systematics; Bioenergy Sciences; Biomathematics; Biotechnology; Conservation Biology; Neuroscience and Physiology; and a Ph.D. degree in Biological Sciences with sequences in: Behavior, Ecology, Evolution, and Systematics; Molecular and Cellular Biology; and Neurosciences.

Majors selecting this sequence will receive broad training in Physiology, Neuroscience and Behavior. This sequence is designed for students seeking careers that involve basic scientific and applied aspects of behavior, physiology and neuroscience.

This sequence will also prepare students for graduate studies in neuroscience, physiology and animal behavior and related fields, and with additional coursework, students can meet the requirements to apply to veterinary and health professional schools.
