Music - Music Performance
Master of Music in Performance students are afforded intensive applied study with a professionally accomplished artist-teacher. Performance degrees are offered in all orchestral and band instruments, as well as in piano, guitar, and voice.

The MM in Performance prepares you for a career in:

The MM in Performance curriculum includes:

• Applied music

Mathematics - Statistics
Statistics is the science and art of making inferences from data, under conditions of uncertainty. The practice of Statistics requires not only the understanding of the statistical techniques, but also understanding of the problem requiring statistical analysis, whether it is in the liberal arts, the sciences, health sciences, or business.

Illinois State's award-winning and nationally recognized Spanish Teacher Education major prepares graduates for K-12 teaching, while offering a dynamic interdisciplinary approach for exploring the diverse Spanish-speaking world.

Language coursework prepares students to achieve Advanced-Low or higher proficiency, an endeavor supported by study abroad programs in Chile, Panama, and Spain. Award-winning co-curricular activities, carried out by the Spanish Club and the Sigma Delta Pi (National Collegiate Spanish Honor Society), also help students develop their speaking skills and learn more about Spanish-speaking communities.

Interior Design
The Interior Design major prepares students to design innovative, functional, supportive and responsible interior environments that positively impact the quality of life. The curriculum develops students' skills and knowledge in color and design, drafting, space planning, building and interior systems, materials and finishes, historical interiors, building and barrier-free codes, and Auto-CAD. The needs of special populations and the mandates that regulate the field of interior design are emphasized.

Illinois State's Interior Design program is accredited by the Council of Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA). This prepares students for entry-level Interior Design practice, for advanced study, and to apply for membership in professional Interior Design organizations. The BS or BA in Interior Design granted by Illinois State University meets the educational requirement for eligibility to sit for the National Council for Interior Design Qualification Examination (NCIDQ Exam).

Geographers have specific and valuable skills to tackle important societal challenges facing our planet. Climate change, population pressures, geopolitical conflicts, and natural disasters all need the expertise of geographers.

Geographers are citizens of the world. When solving problems, they value diversity, inclusiveness, and international perspectives.

Typical careers for a geographer include:

The Wonsook Kim School of Art offers a comprehensive list of sequence options for a student interested in Studio Arts. The following are offered as areas of specialization: Ceramics, Drawing, Expanded Media, Glass, Printmaking, Painting, Photography, Sculpture, Video, and Wood / Metal Design.

Following a first year foundations curriculum, students can choose a sequence within an individual studio. Within each sequence, faculty are actively engaged in introducing students to various technical skills and ideas specific to that discipline. The cohesive sequencing of courses within each studio area allows the student to build skills and knowledge towards a highly sophisticated level of work in that field of exploration.

Master of Science in Computer Science (MSCS) at Illinois State gives you the knowledge and tools necessary to study important issues in computer science to obtain productive employment or pursue advanced degrees.

Our program emphasizes foundational knowledge in computer science and programmatic application of fundamental concepts in leading-edge applications.

The Psychology of Sport and Physical Activity program prepares students to make a positive impact on the professional practices and policies in their field. Students study psychological characteristics and their influence on sport and physical activity participation.
