Studio Art
The Bachelor of Art in Studio Art is specifically designed to help you prepare for a creative career in the visual arts. This major offers an immersive studio experience integrated with academic programming that focuses on arts-related career pathways.

Today’s artists utilize cross-disciplinary skills in order to develop successful careers. In the studio art major, you will engage in a comprehensive studio experience in the center of Boston, while you pursue career opportunities in related fields. Suffolk’s MSF degree gives you a high-level understanding of corporate finance, portfolio management, investment banking, and international finance, among other topics. You can earn your MSF degree in as few as nine months through a customized track that lets you focus on a career-relevant curriculum.

Our STEM-designated program is affiliated with the CFA Institute and the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) to provide the highest level of practice-driven insight to ensure that students are prepared for the demands of the global financial industry.

Global Public Policy
Suffolk’s Master’s in Global Public Policy (MAGPP) program is focused on the in-depth understanding of international relations—institutions, regulation, diplomacy, and governance—across cultural and geographic borders in order to prepare you for careers in international affairs. Our location in the center of a truly international city, combined with our extensive alumni network, enables you to broaden your professional connections, expand your network and take the next step to advance your career.

Suffolk University's Politics, Philosophy & Economics (PPE) program is the first of its kind in the Boston area. An interdisciplinary major that draws from three academic departments, PPE will give you a foundation in policy, ethics, and economics. You'll develop the comprehensive understanding of complex social and political challenges you'll need to help solve them.

PPE students gain knowledge and skills from all three disciplines; develop their ability to argue and write with clarity, style, and precision; and learn to synthesize and evaluate information.

Suffolk University's biology major is especially collaborative and career-focused. Many of your classes will have fewer than 20 students, and you'll benefit from your professors' individual attention, thanks to our low faculty-to-student ratio.

At Suffolk, you can earn either a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science in Biology, depending on your area of focus. Politics, Philosophy & Economics
Suffolk University's Politics, Philosophy & Economics (PPE) program is the first of its kind in the Boston area. Journalism matters. Learn to report the news across print and digital platforms at Suffolk University. Whether you concentrate in broadcast journalism or print/web journalism, you'll earn a degree that's in-demand and invaluable to your career and grad school plans.

Suffolk University's program is tailored to your goals. You'll start by taking two foundation courses that focus on effective speaking, concise writing, and critical thinking and then courses in writing, online journalism, and media law. Next, you’ll gain specific knowledge and hands-on experience in journalism.

Concentration in Broadcast
In the broadcast journalism concentration, you’ll gain invaluable experience in our capstone course Suffolk U News. Internships are also vital. Suffolk students regularly work at New England Cable News, PBS, and the local affiliates of NBC, CBS, and ABC, and Fox News and ESPN.

A major in information systems (IS) will prepare you for a career in systems analysis, operations management, information systems, and information technology. Courses in this major integrate active learning experiences that develop your analytical and decision-making abilities, with team-building skills that improve your ability to incorporate diverse viewpoints and contributions.

Whether you’re starting out in the job market or are preparing to move upward in your established field, you’re going to need to distinguish yourself in the eyes of employers. With a Master in Management and Organizational Leadership, you can develop all the skills needed to hit the ground running in a leadership role.

Suffolk’s MMOL curriculum is purpose-built to teach you how to think like a leader and ground you in organizational behavior, negotiation, interpersonal skills, leadership, team-building, conflict resolution, successful management of people and projects, and to get first-hand exposure to global business practices with a required travel seminar. The MMOL program prepares you to excel in a variety of leadership roles such as human resource specialist, operations manager, contract administrator, training and development manager, project coordinator, and more.
