Suffolk University's Politics, Philosophy & Economics (PPE) program is the first of its kind in the Boston area. An interdisciplinary major that draws from three academic departments, PPE will give you a foundation in policy, ethics, and economics. You'll develop the comprehensive understanding of complex social and political challenges you'll need to help solve them.

PPE students gain knowledge and skills from all three disciplines; develop their ability to argue and write with clarity, style, and precision; and learn to synthesize and evaluate information.

Suffolk’s Master’s in Applied Politics (MAAP) program focuses on the American political system, electoral and advocacy campaigns, and public policy. We provide a foundation of knowledge in how to access and influence the political process.

Computer Science
As a computer science major at Suffolk University, you'll study new ways of thinking and problem-solving. You'll analyze data and then model your results, and recognize patterns—all thanks to computers' increased power and advancements in software.

If you’re an engineer, computer programmer, or other high-tech professionals, or if you’re looking to balance out your business or financial experience with increased technical analytics skills, you can advance your career with the Suffolk Master’s of Science in Business Analytics program.

Suffolk’s comprehensive MSBA program uniquely balances business analytics and data management by teaching you business approaches to analytics and exactly how to manage and create projections with stored data sets. Master how to make high-level, data-driven determinations across a wide range of industries and how to communicate analytic information to non-technical business leaders and stakeholders, enabling them to make the best possible strategic decisions.

Concentration in Urban Environmentalism
You’ll learn to be an interdisciplinary problem-solver, drawing from the natural sciences, humanities, and social sciences. Theatre
Suffolk's Theatre Department is student-centered. We'll help you shine, whether you choose to act; write, direct, and design your own original plays; master stage or arts management; intern with leading theatre companies in Boston and abroad; and so much more. At Suffolk, you can earn either a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science in Biology, depending on your area of focus. You’ll begin with a well-rounded assortment of courses in both the lab and classroom focusing on evolution, genetics, ecology, bioethics, and physiology.

If you’re creative, passionate, driven, and want to be an impact player in the business world, the entrepreneurship major is for you.

The curriculum has two paths: corporate entrepreneurship and launching new ventures.

Incorporate entrepreneurship, the curriculum takes you on a practical journey of idea generation, opportunity feasibility, business planning, and strategic consulting with small firms.

In the launch sequence, you’ll work with faculty to create a new venture. The program is flexible and allows movement between both paths throughout your academic career.
