Environmental engineering students learn ways to minimize pollutants and waste and protect the earth's resources. Environmental engineers develop methods for clean manufacturing, wastewater treatment and water purification, alternative energy, and sustainable building. Students earning their Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering at the University of Arizona work under the umbrella of the Chemical and Environmental Engineering Department, gaining in-depth knowledge of process engineering for transforming waste into useful products and cleaning up contaminants in soil and groundwater. If you have a strong drive and entrepreneurial spirit, set your aspirations on the highly lauded, one-year New Venture Development Program.  Students wishing to add a second major to another course of study at the University of Arizona's Eller College of Management have the option of applying to the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Entrepreneurship. The New Venture Development Program at the McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship offers selected students a one-year immersion curriculum during their senior year. In collaboration with their peers and with entrepreneurs serving as mentors, students build a new venture from the ground up and hone their entrepreneurial and business leadership skill set in the process. Ranked in the nation's top 10 programs, the B.S.B.A. in Entrepreneurship is highly selective, and accepted students graduate with a competitive edge.

Public health professionals design and implement programs to ensure all communities have access to crucial health services and safe living conditions. The University of Arizona's Bachelor of Science with a major in Public Health is accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health. The Public Health Practice emphasis is one of several areas of concentration within the major. Public Health Practice students study health program evaluation, health policy, law and ethics. Undergraduates complement their coursework with an internship that provides them with professional public health experience working with underserved populations. Our planet is more than meets the eye. Explore the history of Earth's climate, global change, ocean science and modern climate dynamics. Students who select the Bachelor of Science in Geosciences with an Earth, Oceans and Climate (EOC) emphasis are immersed in an interdisciplinary approach to the study of the planet. Students gain an understanding of the history of Earth's climate, global change, ocean science and modern climate dynamics. They learn scientific research skills and work with data and technology in the field and in the laboratory. EOC students participate in hands-on capstone research or field experience, typically in the latter part of their program. Graduates pursue careers in environmental geology and scientific research in fields such as oceanography, climate science, surficial processes, paleoclimate, paleoecology and more.

To earn the Bachelor of Music in Performance with a Clarinet emphasis, students take classes in settings of individualized study and personal attention. The Fred Fox School of Music offers students access to an electro-acoustic music studio, a recording studio with 24-track analog and digital recording, and a composer series that features internationally renowned composers. Within the Clarinet Studio, students take weekly classes in reeds, new music and career development. Students are encouraged to be creative, entrepreneurial, goal-oriented and collaborative.
