The Advertising concentration within the Communication major is geared toward our students focused on careers in advertising, whether their interest lies in creative, media, strategy, or account management. This concentration provides hands-on exposure to the industry, giving you a competitive edge when you enter the field after graduation.

The B.A. in Italian provides the foundational skills for spoken and written proficiency as well as essential knowledge of Italian culture through the study of a broad range of topics such as Italian literature,  history, and contemporary ideas. The minor provides students with a solid base for the many professions linked with international endeavors and helps to prepare students to work in Italian and Italian American communities and institutions here and abroad.

The Professional Studies major is everything you need in an academic program, packaged for convenience.

This bachelor degree completion option is available in online and on-ground formats that cover areas such as Management Studies, Organizational Communication, Organizational Leadership, Information Technology Management, and Behavioral Studies.  This transfer credit friendly major allow students to maximize use of  credits earned from previous colleges / universities,  ACE accredited professional certifications, and credit for certain life work experiences.

It is a fact that many private companies and public institutions in a variety of fields are in need of people proficient in Spanish.  Whether at home or abroad, linguistic and cultural proficiency in Spanish offers a distinct advantage.

Marist offers a strong curriculum in Spanish. Courses are carefully designed to afford students the opportunity to achieve a specific set of linguistic, cultural, and analytical learning outcomes. 

Philosophy majors at Marist grapple with some of the most fundamental questions concerning the nature of reality, the scope of human knowledge, and the essence of right and wrong. You’ll learn to think in conceptually novel ways and construct critical and logically rigorous arguments. As a Philosophy major at Marist, you will develop important skills, and philosophy complements other pursuits such as the law, psychology, cognitive science, and computer science.

The study of Interior Design focuses on developing each design student's creativity by intersecting it with visual, technical, and architectural design principles. Mastery of these principles will enhance an Interior Design student's understanding of space, creativity, and art, while encouraging each person's own imagination allowing design students to correctly channel and focus ideas, avoid clichés, and collect new stimuli.
