• The Digital Art & Design - Graphic Design, M.F.A. is one of the most competitive and highly-regarded programs in the field, offering you the opportunity to develop strong conceptual, aesthetic, and innovative visual projects.
• You’ll work in our advanced visualization facility using the latest industry-standard software and hardware, including 3-D printing/rapid prototyping, laser cutters, and immersive environments such as Oculus Rift. You’ll learn from accomplished, full-time faculty who are successful visual artists and creative multimedia designers with experience ranging from fine and digital arts to emerging technology such as virtual, augmented, and mixed reality.

Advance your ability to assess the design and integration of complex systems within an organization, helping you to predict behavior and improve or optimize system performance.

In the AACSB-accredited M.B.A. with an Operations & Supply Chain Management concentration, you’ll gain professional experience working with companies located in New York City—the world capital of finance and business.

You’ll learn from and network with industry professionals who regularly visit your classes, as well as work with them directly through internships at high-impact companies. You'll also have the opportunity to explore the industry from a global perspective by attending courses in affiliated universities around the world.

Upon completion of our M.B.A. program, you’ll be able to:

• Utilize technology support systems, including SPSS, Arena, @Risk, XLMiner, Tableau, R, Arena, POM-QM, Analytic Solver Data Mining, Wolfram Mathematica, Decision Tools Suites, and SAP to strengthen organizational decision processes.

In the Graphic Design, B.F.A. program, you’ll produce work that demonstrates artistic expression, technical proficiency, and well-informed conceptual ideas.

You’ll take courses in areas from advertising and editorial to information graphics, logos and branding, motion graphics, packaging, typography, and web and interactive design and emerge with a portfolio of work that will demonstrate your professional readiness to future employers.

You’ll gain proficiency with the latest applications and technology—including Adobe Creative Cloud, 3-D printers, and laser cutters—and how to use them in the creation, reproduction, and distribution of visual messages.

Through internships with local agencies and design firms, as well as projects (both individual and collaborative), you’ll prepare to tackle the real-world challenges of being a career-ready graphic designer.

What You’ll Learn

• The Computer Science, B.S. program with a concentration in Big Data Management & Analytics is a joint effort between IBM and New York Tech that will prepare you for a role understanding and managing one of the world’s most important assets—big data.
• You’ll study a variety of topics such as data collection, data organization, information retrieval, and data mining. You’ll also complete lab exercises that use IBM InfoSphere BigInsights and IBM INfoSphere Streams.

Kick-start your career in medical research, chemical engineering, manufacturing, environmental protection, and more through a technology-infused educational and research experience.

What You’ll Learn

• In our Chemistry, B.S. program, you’ll participate in a hands-on curriculum utilizing technology and modern approaches to solve chemical problems.
• After a core curriculum in humanities and research principles and practices, you’ll take coursework in progressive levels of general chemistry, organic chemistry, quantitative and instrumental analysis, physical chemistry, biochemistry, physics, and mathematics, as well as a selection of electives.
• You’ll work in our state-of-the-art research laboratories, conducting research side-by-side with highly-skilled faculty in areas such as synthetic and medicinal chemistry, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics.

The Digital Art & Design - Fine Arts & Technology, M.F.A. helps you push the boundaries of your imagination by producing concept-driven, innovative works of art with both new technologies and traditional tools and mediums. Each of your classes explores and integrates cutting-edge technology, with an emphasis on its impact on the art experience. Your classroom projects incorporate the use of 3-D modeling software to create memorable characters and environments; motion capture to drive those characters and bring them to life; and experiential art through the use of VR/AR.

Improve the world around you through social work. Learn how counseling, advocacy, and mediation can better quality of life for people and communities of all kinds.

What You’ll Learn

• Help people from a range of backgrounds and experiences live better lives through counseling, advocacy, and mediation with the Behavioral Sciences-Sociology / Social Work, B.S. You’ll study different social systems—family units, gangs, religious cults, medical systems, and more—and how they’re impacted by race, ethnicity, gender, sexual preference, and social class.
• You’ll gain critical experience with field placement opportunities, as well as work side by side with full-time faculty on original research, presenting at regional and national conferences, as well as New York Tech’s Symposium of University Research and Creative Expression (SOURCE).
• Courses are offered in a range of formats, from small groups in traditional classrooms, through distance learning across campuses and classrooms, and online.
