Rowan University's cutting-edge Bachelor of Science in Music Industry degree program provides students with the extensive knowledge and experience they need to launch a successful career in the music business or the recording industry. Music Industry majors can choose between two specializations: Music Technology and Music Business. The Music Technology specialization offers hands-on production experience in the recording studio, while Music Business focuses on management and marketing as practiced in the music industry. Students in one specialization can take courses from the other as electives. Both specializations incorporate 12 credits from the Rohrer College of Business.

A masters degree in Urban & Regional Planning is recognized as the terminal degree for this profession, but currently there is only one accredited planning program in our state. This proposed program will focus on all planning fields commonly practiced in southern New Jersey, but at the same time highlight the global significance as they are related to climate change, environmental degradation, sustainability, resiliency, and diversity. This proposed program will accommodate the needs of full-time professionals through a combination of evening and online courses.

Planning is a multidisciplinary field, so the MS program will accept students with undergraduate degrees from both science and liberal arts backgrounds. The MS program is being developed in such a way that graduates become skilled practitioners and are qualified to work within government, private, or nonprofit sectors.
