Our Master of Arts in Mathematics provides an opportunity to pursue advanced study in mathematics and develop the skills to help lead you to success in today's technologically-oriented society. Whether the goal involves applying mathematics to solve problems in business and industry, teaching in higher education, preparing for further graduate study in mathematics or related fields, or working in a rapidly the growing field of big data analysis as a statistician, this program enables each student to pursue a course of study that is appropriate for their interests.

To address these varying interests, we offer three concentrations: Pure Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, and Statistics.

The Bachelor of Arts in Computing and Informatics is a new degree designed for students who are interested in pursuing careers in information technology which requires a solid understanding of the principles of computing - but not the underpinnings of computer science theory and mathematics.

Concentrate on computer programming, infrastructure platforms, web application development, database implementations, or information security. Customize the program to suit your specific interests and abilities. We currently offer specializations in mobile devices and DevOp.

The B.S. degree in Chemistry prepares students for graduate study and for careers in industry, government or medicine. The program provides training in all five areas of chemistry following the recommendations of the Committee on Professional Training of the American Chemical Society. After completion of the basic courses there are numerous choices for advanced electives and the degree is capped off with a research experience. Students learn and work in laboratories equipped with modern instrumentation for hands-on use by students at all levels.

American Studies challenges students to investigate the diversity of ideas and circumstances that create American society, culture and history as they develop their critical writing, reading and communication skills.

Our interdisciplinary foundation prepares students to be stronger and more productive citizens with the ability to adapt to the changing world.

The strength of the Accounting Degree Requirements is in the emphasis on practical and theoretical content to help students prepare for ethical participation in various accounting careers, including careers in professional accounting and financial management. The program also prepares students for graduate studies in accounting, taxation and business.

The Accounting Program at Rowan University's Rohrer College of Business has been ranked the #3 accounting program in the state of New Jersey by the Accounting Degree Review. An MBA Concentration in Cannabis Commercialization is an ideal option for those that want to expand their career options in or adjacent to the rapidly evolving cannabis industry. The rapidly evolving cannabis industry is anticipated to become a multi-billion dollar economic driver across the USA - and beyond. Career opportunities related to cannabis are vast, and cross-over talent is in high demand. Plant-touching verticals such as cultivation, extraction, manufacturing, and/or retail need experts from other industries to adapt, extend, and expand best practices into the highly regulated cannabis market. There is strong and growing demand for ancillary businesses complementing and serving the cannabis industry, with potential career pathways in services such as accounting and tax, finance and banking, data analysis, marketing and branding, supply chain, and human resources.

Our Master of Music provides intensive experiences in performance, conducting, or composition, as well as courses geared to enhance your knowledge and understanding of the literature of your area of concentration - and a greater understanding of music in general. Our program is tailored for aspiring musicians who wish to make a career as a performer, conductor, or composer.

The Rowan University Mechanical Engineering (ME) Program offers an innovative and student-centered program, incorporating leading-edge educational methods that blend theory with engineering practice. The program provides students with a strong foundation in mechanical engineering science and design, and emphasizes the development of effective communication, teaming skills, and professional responsibility, in preparation for a career in a diverse global workforce.

Throughout the curriculum, students are exposed to mechanical engineering methods using hands-on state-of-the-art experiments, modern computational tools, and problem synthesis and solution approaches. The Mechanical Engineering Program is committed to graduating students that have technical excellence, a commitment to professional responsibility, and lifelong learning skills.

The Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Geology are physical science majors composed of foundation courses in science and mathematics; core courses in geology; and upper-level geoscience electives. The BA programs are designed to prepare students to enter the geoscience workforce in consulting firms or government agencies; pursue professional studies; or undertake advanced graduate studies in geoscience disciplines. Students who pursue a BA in Geology have greater flexibility to take electives in environmental science, geography, social sciences, and other disciplines.

The RTF Department offers students courses in radio, television and film production, as well as courses in the history, business, and aesthetics of the media. Students can select one of two tracks within the program: The Traditional Production Emphasis, which is based in the department's, state-of-the-art digital production facilities, and a new Critical Studies Track. This track prepares the student for media studies in graduate school and/or careers in education and literary criticism. Students who complete both of these programs posses a broad-based liberal arts background and a strong preparation for either the media production industry or advanced media studies.
