The Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science prepares students interested in careers related to the field of Exercise Science. These include: Clinical Exercise Physiology, Strength and Conditioning, Corporate Fitness, Medical, and Community Based Fitness and Wellness Centers along with other Exercise Science related fields. The Master of Science in Bioinformatics (M.S.) prepares our graduates with the skills to immediately contribute in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and biomedical fields. Bioinformatics is a multidisciplinary field of study that focuses on the use of computational information tools in the investigation and analysis of biological, biomedical, and biochemical systems. The industry uses information generated in the lab or clinic for future applications, research, and development.

Our program provides hands-on experience, giving you the opportunity to work on novel research. This includes advanced training in theory and laboratory settings, which allows you to diversify into other biomedical research fields. This program includes the following three focus areas: Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, and Computer Science.

Our M.S. in Computer Science provides a higher level of understanding in computational science and its application to a variety of fields, including education, industry, research, business and government. As a student, you have the opportunity to choose from a wide range of advanced topics to tailor their coursework to meet your career and personal goals. Project-intensive courses provide hands-on experience with popular technologies such as game design, robotics and computer graphics.

The Rowan University Human Resources Management program prepares graduates for the profession using a blend of classroom, extra-, and co-curricular experiences, such as internships and project-based learning assignments.

The B.S. Degree in Biochemistry, an interdisciplinary program, is designed to prepare students for a career in biochemistry or graduate studies. The program combines the value of a liberal education with appropriate classroom and laboratory training in chemistry, biology, math and physics. The focus is on a molecular approach to studying living systems. The biochemistry major can choose to specialize in related areas of chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, genetics or structural biology, pre-med, allied health sciences or biomedical sciences by a careful selection of elective courses. The emphasis in all courses is on the acquisition of a solid knowledge base combined with hands-on laboratory work using modern equipment. Each student is expected to carry out a laboratory-based research project.
