Our M.A. in Higher Education Administrative track is designed to serve professionals without any experience in higher education administration, but who aspire to careers in that field; as well as those who are already practicing administrators in a college or university who wish to upgrade their skills.

Graduates of our Administrative track often pursue higher education careers in student affairs, including residential life, admissions, academic advising, student activity programming, and service-learning/volunteerism.

If you love business and the creativity that drives it, then advertising is for you. Develop an array of experience from copywriting to account and media planning, from integrated marketing communication to advertising campaigns.

Showcase your advertising campaigns and strategies by competing in national venues with Rowan. Our student agencies — Ad Dynamics, PRaction and Rowan’s Ad Club — allow you to work in the field with local professionals and build important connections.

Learn how to make knowledgeable decisions and lead others in ethical decision-making, taking discussion-focused courses that emphasize discovering solutions for local and global ethical, scientific, and religious conflicts.

Explore different parts of the world while investigating relevant issues related to gender, media, and global peace. Philosophy majors examine science, technology, art, literature, environmental ethics, existentialism, and philosophy and race.

Pursuing your MBA degree at Rowan drives you to learn strategies outside of your comfort zone. You will explore the latest international business trends, apply the newest management tools and techniques, and challenge yourself to improve your business skills, including decision making and collaboration. The B.A. degree program in Chemistry is designed primarily to prepare graduates to teach at the high school level. To follow this career path, a student must also earn a B.A. in Education. Both degrees must be selected upon entrance to Rowan.

This program may also be taken as a stand alone degree. It provides the foundation for science-related careers in industry and government, including forensics. The B.A. program also provides excellent preparation for students who plan to apply for medical, dental, veterinarian, pharmacy, and optometry schools.

Our Master of Science in Chemical Engineering provides the opportunity to work on real-world projects in state-of-the-art facilities. In our program, you participate in an applied, hands-on education and build the knowledge and training needed to effectively contribute to the field of engineering. The Chemical Engineering specialization emphasizes project management skills and industrially relevant research that prepares students for careers in high-tech fields. This program includes the following focus areas: Bioengineering & Biomedical Engineering; Polymer Science & Engineering; Separations; Reaction Engineering; Sustainability; and Engineering Pedagogy.

The Bachelor of Arts degree is designed for careers in environmental consulting, management, science writing, or science education. While also rigorous, the BA is a more flexible pathway with enough free electives to permit a second major in areas such as Education, Communications, Environmental & Sustainability Studies, or Geology.

BA students integrate the foundations of biology, chemistry, physics and other core STEM disciplines with their understanding of environmental issues. Environmental scientists are on the front line of documenting environment change and developing solutions to modern problems that impact everyone on Earth.

The Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology degree, through the four-field approach of cultural, physical, linguistic, and archaeology, is designed to prepare students to succeed in the 21st century and find employment in research, teaching, development, advocacy, health care among diverse populations, consumer research, community-based organizations, non-profits, and public service. Anthropology Majors will have the option of concentrating their studies in one of four subfield tracks. These are forensic anthropology, museum studies, medical anthropology, and cultural resource management and archaeology. The BA Anthropology degree will also support those students who wish to pursue further study in graduate or professional schools. By acquiring an anthropological perspective on diversity, culture, and ethnography as well as developing strong social and natural scientific research skills, students will expand their career opportunities.

Our Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering provides engineering professionals an opportunity to expand their skill sets in advanced topics. Specialization areas for this program include:

• Discrete event systems
• Virtual reality systems

A  full range of theatre and dance production opportunities complements coursework and allows students to develop performance and production skills by creating live theatre.  All students may participate in the department's annual faculty-directed mainstage and/or student productions. These projects provide students with practical experience as performers, directors, designers and technicians, and enhances skills learned in the classroom.

Concentration in Acting
Focus on dance and singing to become a multi-disciplinary, diverse independent artist. Train in movement, voice, script analysis, psychological acting, directing and literature.

Movement is paired with cutting-edge vocal work including Linklater, Fitzmaurice and Roy Hart techniques. We fuse voice and physical work with psychological acting based in original Stanislavsky teachings.
