The multidisciplinary study of neuroscience draws on the fields of biology and psychology to understand how the brain generates behavior, emotion and cognition. Latin American Studies is a diverse field that bridges the social sciences, natural sciences and humanities in the study of the Americas. You’ll be prepared for a variety of careers in international relations, international business, healthcare-related fields, teaching, politics, or law. More importantly, it prepares you to become an informed citizen with the sensitivity to the wants and needs of multicultural populations.

Design Technology - Concentration
As a major in theater design/technology, you’ll train in the many aspects of design and technical functions of the performing arts, including set and costume design, props, drafting, lighting design and pulling it all together as a producer.
You’ll analyze and compare the historical, critical and aesthetic contexts in which the dramatic tradition has developed. In your third year, faculty will review your portfolio and advise you on which area—theater technology, scenic design, costume design, lighting design or stage management—you should specialize in.

Earning a degree in Spanish opens the door to a career in a number of fields—business, education, journalism, law, law enforcement, library science, medicine, public health, social work, translation and interpreting. You can become a language teacher in the United States or in international schools with an advanced degree in language education, or you could become a professional translator or interpreter.
