Spanish is one of the three most widely spoken languages in the world and the second most widely used language in the United States. Mastering the Spanish language and culture can give you a critical edge in virtually any U.S. business or private firm, as well as in law and government service.

Electrical engineers are primarily concerned with the generation, control, transmission, and distribution of electric energy, signals, and information. This may be on a large scale, such as designing a more reliable power grid, or a small scale, such as developing components for a new medical device or cell phone.
