By applying the fundamentals of their discipline (reactions and separations), chemical engineers design, install, and complete the processes for efficient production of materials, as well as tailor the properties of materials for specific applications. With these skills, chemical engineers may help make microprocessors for Apple, controllers for Ford, and laundry detergent pods for Proctor & Gamble. Graduates may work in the petrochemical industry/plants, research and development, or go on to graduate school or medical school.

The Bachelor of Music prepares you for a career as a professional musician or composer. It also serves as the gateway to graduate-level studies in music.

You will feel right at home as a geography major. Take advantage of the special emphases in Latin American and East Asian geography. Get heavily involved in hands-on research projects and the student-run Geography and Anthropology Society.

Experimental Music and Digital Media- Expand your interest in computer music, experimental music, music technology, and digital media to the next level and journey toward opportunities in electronic music and digital media. Combining music, technology, and science, you can participate in such activities as the Louisiana Mobile App Orchestra and the Laptop Orchestra of Louisiana.
