This program will provide you with the knowledge and skills to participate in the environmental community in areas such as federal and local environmental regulations, land use planning, soil and water conservation, coastal restoration, and agricultural management.

Resource Conservation: Learn about the chemical, physical, and biological properties of soils, soil and water conservation and associated federal programs, coastal restoration, soil/plant relationships, fundamentals of forestry, wildlife and agricultural management, land use planning soil and water assessment and remediation principles, and ecological risk assessment.

You will feel right at home as a geography major. Take advantage of the special emphases in Latin American and East Asian geography. Get heavily involved in hands-on research projects and the student-run Geography and Anthropology Society.

Philosophy will allow you to stretch your mind and imagination by examining some of the most difficult problems of human existence. This is for students interested in careers in medical physics and health physics or those intending to pursue a physics degree as a pre-med student. In this concentration you will take courses in chemistry, biology, and kinesiology, as well as core physics and specialized medical physics courses.
