Secondary Education: If you want to teach French, you can do that, too. The available secondary education concentration allows you to pursue certification to teach while you are enjoying the courses you love.

Learn the math and theory behind modern-day computing, develop and hone your programming skills, and then use computers to solve problems in almost any industry. Computer science involves programming computing devices, creating information systems, engineering new products, visualizing and creating imagery, working with data infrastructure and networks, and protecting information through cybersecurity Concentrations include cloud computing and networking, computer science and a second discipline, cybersecurity, data science and analytics, and software engineering. Many graduates go on to become software engineers/developers, but other job titles include cybersecurity specialist, network designer, entrepreneur, web developer, and more.

Kinesiology is the study of human movement and the practice of helping people understand how their body performs, how to maintain proper physical health, and how to maximize their body's potential.

Learn how raw products move from farm to table, including all of the functions of agricultural business. This major will allow you to focus on management, marketing, finance, and economics, while addressing questions and concerns involving the economics and sociology of agriculture, natural resources, and rural communities.

Food Industry Management: With its proximity in South Louisiana to a tradition of fine food from a variety of cultures, LSU is perfectly situated to provide you with the business tools to make the most of this tradition. In this agricultural business concentration, you will learn about processes and technology in the U.S. food industry.

Choose a focus in two- or three-dimensional art, such as ceramics and sculpture, painting and drawing, photography, or printmaking. Become familiar with a number of art techniques and the major achievements in the history of art. Horticulture Science: Horticulture is the science and art of cultivation, propagation, marketing, and processing of ornamental plants, flowers, vegetables, fruits, and nuts. Horticulture is unique among plant sciences because it also incorporates art and the principles of design. With opportunities such as internships, hands-on learning, and faculty-led research, you will gain valuable experiences both inside and outside of the classroom.
