Graphic design is an intensive professional degree major that combines art and design foundation courses with the graphic design curriculum and an arts and sciences education.

The graduate program in computer science offers a comprehensive approach to the theory and application of computer science. Graduates of the program will have:

• A thorough grounding in the theory of computing science and the ability to apply that knowledge to a variety of problem areas,
• Been exposed to a variety of analytical methods and will demonstrate a basic understanding of those methods, and
• Been exposed to a wide breadth of computer science information by having studied several of the dominant sub-disciplines of computer science.

The program is individualized to meet each student's needs and provides a firm foundation for continuing on to the doctorate or a professional career. The program accommodates both full-time and part-time students.

As a member of the Discover Engineering Technology program at the University of Dayton, you will be able to explore the academic programs in the School of Engineering before finalizing your major.

You'll be enrolled in a specially designed seminar course that offers an introduction to the division, its faculty, curriculum, opportunities for graduates, and the various policies and procedures necessary for the successful student to follow. This seminar provides information on cooperative education and internship opportunities, as well as extracurricular options. The classes are small, and the attention is as individual as needed. With the help of this seminar, along with the assistance of your knowledgeable adviser, you will discover the area of engineering technology that's right for you.

Once you decide on your engineering academic program, students admitted as Discover Engineering Technology are guaranteed to move into any engineering technology program and students admitted as Discover Engineering are guaranteed to move into any engineering program. Our faculty and staff mentor our students for successful careers in mechanical engineering that align with personal interests by bringing state-of-the-art research and modern engineering challenges into the classroom. As a UD Dietetics major, you'll thrive in an environment where hands-on learning, professionalism, leadership, and evidence-based practice are at the forefront. Students are mentored and taught by faculty who are registered and licensed dietitian nutritionists (RDNs) to support your growth and development, both in and out of the classroom.

Prepare to perform in an opera, musical, recording studio, orchestra, band, chorus, chamber ensemble or as a soloist. Our program will help you refine your abilities in music performance to begin working or pursuing graduate studies after graduation. You will have a multitude of individual and group performance opportunities including solo competitions, workshops, masterclasses, and national and international travel with our ensembles.

Our students are taught by an outstanding array of scholar-teachers in areas of inquiry that include American politics, public law, public administration, international relations, comparative politics, public policy, environmental politics, urban politics and political theory.

The Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts emphasizes a broad arts and sciences education with supportive studies in art, photography, design and art history. Students receive a breadth of exploration in their coursework.
