As a first-year student, you'll participate in a one-credit course in business educational planning where you will learn about the nine majors available in the School of Business Administration. This experience will help you select an appropriate major and provide the necessary framework to help realize academic, professional and extracurricular goals.

As a UD Middle Childhood Education/Intervention Specialist major, you'll learn the knowledge and skills necessary to educate and support children in their transition from childhood to early adolescence. You'll specialize in two areas of concentration, choosing from mathematics, reading/language arts, science, and social studies.
